If there would be anyone kind enough to extract the text from the game "Ookami to Koushinryou - Boku to Horo no Ichinen" for me and send me a text file including it, that would be wonderful.

I can take care of the translation side as long as I have the text, but I have no skills in extracting/injecting text.

Anyone willing to do this would get much respect from me ^^

I can probably dump the text to a text file using Shyvnal's method, but I've never learned how to reinsert the text though. I'll try looking into this later when it's day time (Currently 3am over here) since my laptop's too slow and my PC's too loud at night.

The text is located in a folder called "Scripts", those files should contain all the text.

script\event\ev_act\act_010_opening.wsb

that is one of the files.

I kind of thought those were event scripts, but w/e. I'll see what I can do. I'll edit this post in a bit after dumping a few text.

EDIT: Here are the first 7 files from the act folder.

Obviously, you'll need something to view shift_JIS.

The process is pretty tedious and since I have other things on my hand at the moment, I'll just tell you how to dump it the way I'm doing it.

1. Download Windhex
2. Download this table file: shiftjis.tbl
3. Open up Windhex and click: File >> Open Table File >> Table #1 >> shiftjis.tbl
4. After loading the table file, press Ctrl+D or click Option >> View Text Data as Unicode
5. Load the script files, press F10 and set the starting offset of the file at 00000000 and end offset to whatever offset is at the end of the file (For the text dumps I've made, it's been 0000FEFF)
6. Repeat step 5 for all of them.

Hopefully this helps.
