Hacking Wood R4 boot into NDS menu

Is there a way to boot into the normal NDS menu, and then load up the R4 from there? (like what the Acekard does)

I tried searching for this topic, and I'm under the impression that the R4 loads up automatically because of the hardware.

Your impression is correct, R4 is an auto-boot card and as far as I know, it can't be changed even with wood

Try this out.

This was integrated into YSMenu but he released it separately as well. You can't get back in to the R4 menu without resetting, but it allows access without removing the card.

Just for information's sake, there was also a dump of the DS Phat firmware that floated around, but back2fw is much better.

EDIT: Uh, might not be what you want after rereading the topic. But this works better than nothing if you need to change the DS options.
