So, as the tittle says I was messing around hacking my Wiiu but I was messing with its files (or used it for something else I forget) and am terrified of loading Haxchi or opening my VWii. I think I installed Ninentdont on my VWii to play GC games. The Wiiu is still fine, im able to boot it play it and browse the Eshop. But im scared if I load my VWii or try loading my VWii it would brick my system. Any Thoughts?

What should brick a part of your system? Did you install something to your vwii?
I booted up my Wiiu, its been awhile. Looks like i have the Homebrew Channel on my Wiiu. But on my VWii It was some GameCube Emulator. Pretty sure it was Nintendont. Its just since there is no SD Card currently in the Wiiu im worried of opening the wrong thing and bricking the system

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
