Yay. Here is my remake of Shifting Sand Land from Mario 64 :D

It's not 100% finished yet, the models need some vertex collours and the quicksand needs to be animated, and i don't know, how to make that o.O
Also i'm searching for an idea, how to get the quicksand working, that it can push Mario to the middle. Oh and i want to add a boss, but it crashes everytime, and i don't know why :/

Looks excellent!

Oh my god! I am absolutely blown away! your level modeling skil is absolutely amazing...

Make a video where you model in sketchup some time.

Thanks! I had to rush this model in around a week since I'm on a tight schedule at the moment, but I still wish I had higher video quality to serve better justice to the design - the water in-particular looks a lot better in-game. If I can squeeze It in, I'll have something else pretty cool to show off soon.

Honestly I love your level design! Really brilliant.. I have seen your work on sm64, outerly world like work ;)

Oh btw can I ask how you make the soft edges on sketchup. Is it just the grass texture that makes it look like that the grass goes around the edges too :P ?

exelix11, when do you think will the next version released? Do you planning some new features? :)
I'm quite busy with school and the only thing i added was the custom 3d models folder, the next thing should be an auto generator for the fixed camera and the tower camera.
Also, i don't know what to add next, it seems pretty complete to me, if someone has some suggestions just ask here

The progress on this is pretty impressive, trying to import some models tomorrow. Will post progress if it works.
Really impressed by Skelux' work too, that model is stunning. Loving the background.

That looks INCREDIBLE AMAZING!!!! Far better than nintendos original levels! This hack looks really great!
Too bad, that it will have only 2 worlds, i would be happy, if i could help you in this hack :D

Here are some little ideas for the next version:
-A Save option besides the Save as option, because it happens sometimes, that i save my level in the wrong folder
-Have the option to edit the camerasettings individually when the cameraarea is selected, instead of searching the whole Cameraparameter file for the right camerasetting
-An autogenerator for szs files for levels made by scratch

I have a question regarding the conversion of a model into a collision file:

How long does the convertion-process usually take? Seems like it takes a long time.

Editing camera settings for each camera would be difficult since i would have to test and implement every type, i can make it work for editing settings made by the editor
Save can be done,generating szs too, it will be using some dummy files.

How long does the convertion-process usually take? Seems like it takes a long time.
Drag the obj over CollisionsMng.exe, type the collision codes and it should take a few seconds
