DS commercial ROM loading isn't really what I concern myself with, as I already have ways to play my backups.

Homebrew ROMs and DS Download Play demo ROMs can be loaded at the moment, combined with what Billy Acuña said above.

I don't know how normal this is, but I tried to test it with New Super Mario Bros., and...

• the CIA build freezes the whole system with two white (DS-sized) screens
• the 3DSX build crashes the system to a black screen.

Not in DeSmuMe, but they will play perfectly in DSiMode.

You can't use the 3dsx with O3DS.
