Taiwanese controller-adapters Brooks announced the release of the Wingman SD converter.
The latest addition of their line of Super Converter allows the use of PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Swtich Pro controllers through a USB-port (or wirelessly) for use on Sega’s Saturn and Dreamcast controller-ports.
Some devices with high power consumption, such as the Switch Pro controller, require an external USB power source for normal use.
When used with the Dreamcast, the Wingman SD acts as a VMU featuring a 200-block memory capacity (same as the original VMU and as opposed to the original Brook Dreamcast adapter that only supported 40 blocks) and adds full rumble support.
The estimated shipping date is set to early July 2020.
Saturn and Dreamcast are the common memory of a generation, and now we provide more ways to tap the potential of these two consoles.
Now you can use Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 controllers on them, and the Switch Pro controller, Xbox Elite controller, Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, Xbox adaptive controller, even Retro-Bit Satrun USB controller are all supporable.
