Homebrew Question Windows won't recognize Switch as APX device

Hi Guys,

After nearly 2 hours I finally managed to boot my Nintendo Switch into the RCM (the paperclip method was hard), unfortunately my Nintendo Switch is not recognized correctly from my pc. The APX driver is not installed.

I use Windows 7, the cable is in a USB 3.0 place.

Does anyone know a solution?

TegraRcmGUI will ask for you to install drivers at the moment you will start it

You can use this guide, its very complete: "t3chnolog1c.github.io/SwitchGuide/#windows" (Im a new member so i cant post the link correctly, so copy the link between quotation marks and open in a tab) in your case, probably you need to start from step 4. (Zadig) to install the drivers and then try it. If you still have problems, follow the guide from the start it should work.

Since you're on windows I'd say just use TegraRcmGUI ( https://github.com/eliboa/TegraRcmGUI/releases ) and click on install driver in the settings menu.
