GCN Wind Waker code request/ Hypatia mod help

Is it possible to make a code that replaces Links hair texture with a black or pink one?(I wanna personalize Link a bit) If so, could someone make me a code that does either of these? Also, could someone help me get Hypatia's Wind waker character mods to work with Nintendont? I don't have the foggiest idea how to do it. He does say it's possible, as seen here:http://onthegreatsea.tumblr.com/faq (Its at the top in the info section.) If anyone could help me at all, I'd appreciate it!

Could be possible. But it won't be easy. Link's main texture contains areas for his hair, skin and outfit.
Someone would have to find the texture inside the RAM and make a code that overwrites the yellow field with black. In other words, ever yellow pixel becomes recolored. (we could even make striped hair this way).
