As far as I know, no games require higher than 4.1 but you are right. The warmboot works up to 4.1 and is called Deja Vu. However, they believe it has not been patched out on 5.X yet which is the reason they have not released it yet. The reason I say this is because no one has disclosed whatever hacks work or don't work on 5.X yet outside of the Tegra exploit.Some games may require a higher firmware version than what you've installed on SysNAND. Theoretically a warmboot method that doesn't involve RCM should be coming for 4.0.1 and below, I think.
On SysNAND, you can load a CFW (Atmosphere) that would bypass the firmware check unless part of the game requires certain features of higher firmwareThat would mean you will lose warmboot when you update the Sysnand from updated emunand. You will have to update at some point since games will require the higher firmware hence the use for an emunand
