Hacking Will the eshop break my sh*t?

hey.
so i'm thinking of installing some of the games i've bought on the eshop, but i vaguely recall reading that doing so will delete my saves or dlc or something. are there any negative consequences for installing things legitimately through the eshop or am i remembering things wrong?
by the way, can i use naughty words on this site?

DLC that you did not purchase from the eShop may be deleted when you run the eShop. That is all.

I'm not sure why, but I don't have this problem.

I've got a O3DS with my NNID linked to the emuNAND. I'm able to go to the eShop and my DLCs are still there after that.

It erases stolen themes ( and mii plaza dlc possibly), dlc will stick and so will cia. For now.

It does delete Mii Plaza DLC. Trust me, I know.

I'm not sure why, but I don't have this problem.

It only happens to Mii Plaza for me, all my other legit DLC/not is still there.
