Hacking Will i need a new cartridge for the new gateway update?

Hi , I was wondering if the new gateway update (the one who brings 9.2 support) would need a new cartridge they would hipothethicaly release specificaly for this update or if the one they are selling now would do the trick.
Currently i am waiting for them to release the update and i am wondering if i shoud order the cartridge now or wait and see if they release new hardware.
