last trade in value I saw was like $40USD for DSi towards DSi XL purchase
not sure if people are exaggerating deals in this thread, or if the stores near me just suck XD
anywho 3DS technically isn't a DS revision like all the others have been. its a new console that just happens to have a similar name, shape, style, and UI
kinda like goin from an NES to an SNES. (or better yet, a japanese / PAL SNES to an N64)
