Homebrew wikipedia on the ds

Hey guys.
Does anyone think it would be possible to download a wikipedia dump onto a sdhc chip and use
a browser to read wikipedia offline. Or is there no way this could work.

It's already working. My program DSwiki is quite stable.

EDIT:
I forgot, DSwiki is not limited to the Wikipedia, it's designed to support all wikis based on the mediawiki framework. And there is already an indexer to add other wikis by yourself.

edit: Tried it out with wikiquotes and it works great. Initially had the problem with only having one wiki but found the solution. Now i just need a kit that supports sdhc.

is there a way to make it that ds wiki can go on wifi an update pages that have been added that day or is it just a normal wiki only without people adding pages?

No, that's not possible. At the moment, DSwiki is just for browsing a static snapshot of any wikimedia-powered wiki. Updates can be found under http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/wikipedia/nintendo/ on a regular base. If you can't wait to have the latest version, just run the indexer over the latest dump of your choice from http://download.wikipedia.org/.

hi all! first of all i want to congratulate Mr. Ollipolli for such great work!
But is there such a way that we can split the wikipedia english version? lets say into 5 to 8 parts so the file wouldn't be so big and hard to download? or can someone upload a torrent file for it? i'm accessing internet from office working hours.. Thank you!
