The wii was a system with universal appeal and a gigantic library of games. This meant that there were millions of consoles just waiting for an easy way to pirate games. This laid the foundation for a thriving homebrew scene and made the wii an emulation super console. The wii is still my most played console.

The WiiU is dead. It's library of must have games can be counted on a top ten list, most of which will be in the $5 bargain bin in a matter of months. Plus relatively few people even own the console. At this point I feel like emulation is a more viable means of playing "backups", which let's face it, is all anyone really wants. At this point I feel like a user friendly soft mod is too late to be meaningful.

Sure the people lurking in these threads will be happy, but at this point is there any real motivation for hackers to finish this project?
