Homebrew WiiSCU Shop channel - Help

My 3.2 wii is having problems using WiiSCU. I have wireless internet connection setup on my wii and i've never had a problem with it. The problem I am having is that WiiSCU won't let me update the shop channel for some reason.. it always exits to the HBC after like 2 - 4 minutes.. Can anyone help me? Also i've heard there are diff. version of WiiSCU..
