Apparently Costello it is very possible, and isn't it one of the features for Wiinja?

even though I will wait for a more advanced chip to mod my Wii, i am going to wait for a reveiw, just to see if these work well (Because most more advanced chips will probably just be hardware upgrades to these first-gen chips, so if these do not perform well, a lot of future ones won't either.)

Well, I guess they decided it would be better to keep costs down and pass the savings on to the consumer... Oh wait, the chip is 50-60 USD.

There wasn't on my Wii when I opened it yesterday. You have to lift off about 5 stickers and 3 rubber feet to get in but you can put those back.
That doesn't mean they wont be able to tell it's been opened though.
