Hacking WiiMC and Dark Wii

WiiMC Channel Installer asks for IOS58 i installed the WAd but it still asks.I uninstalled the was so can somebody give me the correct method to install IOS58...
I wanna install the DarkWii Theme for Sys Menu 4.2u but I dont want a brick.. what all do I need before installing on my wii for a safe install

You could use an app such as multimodmanager for uodate and instll of IOS58. Installing menus can be dodgy, you should ideally have Bootmii installed as Boot2.

if your just installing themes with mymenuify, then priiloader is fine.

If you are reinstalling a system menu wad with the theme pre-applied, then you would want bootmii as boot2

also, you can just use the ios58 installer to get ios58

you can get the latest shop channel with DOP-MII

this also still works, but you dont need ios 51 any more, so you can skip that part.

Multi mod manager can do that as well.

Oh, and to add the obvious to the previous posters: in addition to having bootmii as boot2*, you also want to have a backup from your nand before you do that darkwii stuff.

*if it can't be installed as boot2...install it as IOS, but also make sure priiloader is installed.

You should create your own csm file to make sure you can't brick your wii.
