    Good news; it seems to me that the core problem is that the WiiKey didn't really support Dual-Layered discs. A rather simple problem to fix, fortunately. Even legit dual-layers of different regions would have trouble, since the WiiKey still has to "read" it.

    Great news, I knew I didn't regret getting Wiikey for no reason.

    Things are finally happening. [IMG] The fix will probably take a few days but it's worth waiting for.

    Thank you Wiikey Team! [IMG]

    I expected this to be honest, people were screaming "WIIKEY IS DEAD!!11!!" when galaxy was out as well, a week to update doesn't seem too dead to me.

    Yeah but we were so jealous of everyone with another chip, we also want to play the game so that's why there was alot of cursing involved. But people have seemed to calm down a bit due to Wiikey Teams response.

    I wouldn't regret it even if the WiiKey team didn't come out with a fix for SSBB because I've been able to play dozens of games over the past year.

    Wiikey = D2ckey =D2pro

    Its not "are they maybe?"
    Its a fact.
    If I pay the same person to send me the modchips, then I am paying the same team for development
    And their bank account hasn't changed since March last year.

    Wait..... If Wiikey doesn't support Dual Layer and the people trying to dump SSBB are using the Wiikey dumper to dump to an SD Gecko, then wouldn't that just be as useful as trying to fit ~9L of water into a ~5L bucket? Or is there another dumper that will work under Cyclowiz or D2C?
    ... or am I totally missing something?
    If we have to wait for a Wiikey update for their DualLayer dumper, then ugh... they better get their stuff together.

    I guess that's what I was missing... and post #3 here is wrong then. So just the dumper doesn't support DL.

    Atleast it supports dual layer gamu cube discs. It's just some random problem with reading dual layer wii game.
    Anyway good news. That kind of fix shouldn't take too long. (hopefully)
