Gaming [Wiikey 1.9g-beta] Super Mario Galaxy - Black scre

Hi guys,
Do I need to apply WiiBrickBlocker on ISO file before burn the Super.Mario.Galaxy.PAL.Wii-WiiZARD?
I have wiikey with unknown firmware. Never updated, cause 1.9g is beta.

try the okami solution(it gave me a black screen) use wifrii and change it to your region.

I've tested to play Super Mario Galaxy on my PAL wii with Wiikey version 1.9g-beta (update went fine)

I patched my iso from super mario galaxy to PAL and used WiiBrickBlocker.
Now when i want to boot Super Mario Galaxy i'll get a black screen
It is on the channels and i can start it, but than blackscreen comes.

When i patch my iso with WiiBrickBlocker only and no Regionfrii, I will still get the black screen.

I've set my Wii Language to English as in the forums/gbatemp wiki is told.


Any ideas?

Just buy or order the game,it makes everything easier.

Yesss!! I finally found the solution to the black screen problem! and it 100% works(well if you have a jap wii, i don't know about pal wiis):

1- download traucha signer , and use it to extract " main.dol

2- patch the game's main.dol with wii generic patcher to remove error 001 if you don't have wiikey

3- download wifrii and use it to patch the game (USA-->NTSC-J)

4- re-open traucha signer and load the ISO, go to main.dol , replace it , and traucha sign the file!

5- don't forget WBB

6- burn & enjoy the game!

In the present time, you might as well use the correct region version of SMG for your console.
