I've tested to play Super Mario Galaxy on my PAL wii with Wiikey version 1.9g-beta (update went fine)

I patched my iso from super mario galaxy to PAL and used WiiBrickBlocker.
Now when i want to boot Super Mario Galaxy i'll get a black screen
It is on the channels and i can start it, but than blackscreen comes.

When i patch my iso with WiiBrickBlocker only and no Regionfrii, I will still get the black screen.

I've set my Wii Language to English as in the forums/gbatemp wiki is told.

Any ideas?

tnx in advantage =)

Hi,

You need to burn 1 dvd with full iso and another with the iso but run through brick blocker.
Then do the metroid prime trick and it should work fine with no duplicate channels.
Insert the full iso then allow to update, turn off at 15% and reinsert the brick blocker dvd and play away.

Cheers Shane

one tip: dont patch the iso and just run the update included on the disc.

you will get dual channels, but the game works perfect!

Are you shure that the wiikey update was complete ... maybe you do only the 1st step (test flash) after that test comes the real flash ... but you also do not the SMG Update ... that can´t be proceed by a brickblocked iso. Do the MP3 trick with a clean SMG iso to avoid the double channels ....

tnx for the help, i've finished and completed the full 1.9g-beta update.
But i used WiiBrickBlocker.

I'm not planning to install 10-15% of a NTCS update on a PAL system cause this might give trouble in the future.

Ill wait for real PAL

Just dont brickblock the iso, update and you will have duplicate channels> press a+b to drag and drop channels and put your duplicate channels somewhere on page 11 or so

, you will never see them again

Hi guys any help here with my situation would be greatly appreciated...

1: updated Wiikey firmware 1.9g
2: updated Wii firmware 3.1e
3: burned a copy of the game with no mod (regionfrii + Brickblocker)
4: now my wii comes up with the "unable to read disc error" unless i put a copy of the game thats both brickblocked and regionfrii'ed and then i only get the black screen

I hope i havent totally boned my Wii! So many people are getting using the MP3 technique but i cant even get that far..Any advice would be totally appreciated.

hi,..

just a simple question.. do need to do the 2 disk trick if i use the pal SMG on my pal machine?

if so, do i need to keep on doing the 2 disk trick every time i want to play it? if it is, i'd rather have the duplicate channel (i think)... if not, which disk do i keep on using? the one with the brick blocker? or the one without?

thank u

Hi guys,
Do I need to apply WiiBrickBlocker on ISO file before burn the Super.Mario.Galaxy.PAL.Wii-WiiZARD?
I have wiikey with unknown firmware. Never updated, cause 1.9g is beta.
