Hardware wiikey 1.9b update on verbatum +R

Hi i want to update my US wiikey to 1.9b but the site seems to indicate you should use -R
i don't have any handy - has anyone had success with +R at 4x using imageburn?

did you run the utility to pad the image to 1.4 gb?

just a bit nervous to do it

If the verb +r works with wii games, then it should work. Just remember to use IMGBURN. If the verb +rs have never worked with the wii, stick to -r.

y i use mostly verbatum +R right now for backup games - so i take it i should be fine to burn the update on +R

can anyone confirm they have done this on an ntsc USA with wiikey?
