TESTED: Pitfall The Big Adventure USA NTSC

Played for about 45 minutes. The usual lag on cutscenes, but they can be skipped. Gameplay was 100% perfect (so far).

Works, but with long load times, and occasionally the song and the notes on screen are out of sync.

Hate to ask, but how does one force a game to NTSC?

In the wiigator main menu chose config and the turn on the "force NTSC" mode....

I do it with all my backups (pal and NTSC alike) and seems to fix a lot of compatibility issues.

Ah, do I have to run it without a disk or something to get to the config?

Either way....just go to the config menu, change the option and then launch the game. If you are using WiiGator's backup launcher that is.

Game Party 2 NTSC - I had to skip the Midway intro otherwise it would freeze and the title screen was a really long load, otherwise this works.

I got a question i installed the backup loader on the wii from my girl and she wants to play High School Musical: Sing It, it boots fine and works well.. only the mics she got seem to send out a weird noise instead of her voice..

Is there some one who maybe got a sister who plays a game like that on the backuploader and has the same problems? Because maybe it are the mics, or maybe its the speed the backuploader runs..

It's Probobably YOU that wants to play the game. Loading times are slow on the backup launcher. That is probably the reason why "her" voice isn't coming out right. This won't be fixed ANY time soon... so I reccomend you buy the game. Sorry.

It's not me who wants to play it, but i want to listen to her voice anyway so that doesn't matter

She tells me the game runs fine, the loading times are not that long.. the only problem is when she starts singing there is no voice comming it it's deforming or something.. that's why i asked if there's someone who got it running fine on the backuploader.. cause playing it is not te problem, getting your voice there with no deforming is the problem.

Works, slow loading times.

Sega Super Stars Tennis NTSC
Does not work, stops at Sega logo same as pal version

Soul Eater: Monotone Princess NTSC-J
Works pretty well.
FMVs are slow and choppy but don't hang and can also be skipped.
Music seems to puase for a moment between dialog instances but its barely noticable.
Slow loading times.

Geomotry Wars Galaxies PAL
works like the NTSC version does but works with forced NTSC mode for color.

Korinopa PAL
Green screen on forced NTSC mode however runs in black and white normaly.

This is all I've tested so far.
Someone try some more Japanese games

Trauma Center: Second Opinion (NTSC) Works fine. Tested on ALL of the surgeries. Slight longer loading time at the beginning. (Just initial load time)
De Blob (NTSC) Works just like the PAL (Forced NTSC) version. Stuttered video with slight lagging menus. Game play is perfect.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl (NTSC) I know everyone should have a copy already, but just for testing purposes. Burning a copy right now... *bye bye DL

Hey, can anyone confirm that CoD3 NTSC works? I tried it, but when i try to start a new campaign, it freezes on the loading screen.

Whoa, whoa, wait a minute... Does Wario Land: Shake it! work? Because on the wiki page it just says I have to take out the batteries, but here it says it doesn't work all together... Well which one is it? I'm already almost have it... And that'd be a waste of ratio to find out it doesn't work.

Gaah! My patched ISO is 4,286,330,880 bytes instead of 4,185,870! Will it still work?

Super mario Galaxy Pal. works when using the save file. Load time are longer.
Zack & Wiki NTSC working fine using standard leads. (PS I have Pal Wii).
Will Test more in the next few days.

Installed yesterday the cIOS and all that jazz, tried fifa 09 and it workec perfectly, with the wiigator loader

Just to add my experiences with already tested games. I'm running a PAL Wii.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (PAL) - Long load times, otherwise perfect.

No More Heroes (NTSC) - Crashes on dying, long load times, otherwise fine for me.

Resident Evil 4 - Long load times, seems otherwise fine apart from stuttering in cut scenes.

Boom Blox - Great, love it. Will buy it though, load times are a touch long.

Anyone got Endless Ocean (PAL) to actually get into a game? Mine crashes before any real underwater action.

But can someone tell me why there are folders called, "DVD1, DVD2" in Brothers In Arms?

It's confusing. Which folder do I want? D;

wow wow wow, how long have i been gone?? they made a backup game launcher?? does this work through the homebrew channel or what? also not to sound like a complete idiot, but does it work on all regions of wii?
