I tested Brunswick Pro Bowling NTSC & Pal

NTSC
Won't load, green screen or black screen on what ever mode you use (PAL Wii System)

PAL
It loads, but can't get past load screen.. not able to load a quick play it crashes during loading
Force PAL60 doesn't load the game at all
Force PAL50 does load the game, but crashes at loading the level
Force NTSC didn't gave that a try

I've heard people have gotten Dragon Quest Swords working, but I've burned it twice, once at 2.4x and another time at 4x both get stuck on the opening cutscene. Anyone know what the problem might be?

so does the no more heroes ntsc works or not

Yes, it works.

I have an NTSC Wii with normal cables, NTSC normal TV, and burned an NTSC No More Heroes partition.iso to a Maxell DVD-R at 16x, popped it into the Wii, went into Wiigator's loader, no options changed and it works with full color. Load times are a tad slow and the opening movie lags, but gameplay is smooth.

as far that i have seen... when you go to the sandbox (after the 1st boss when you can ride the motorcycle around) it freezes at random points
it also freezes when you die...

not playable imo

Theres just one part of the game where it freezes on the bike, its the road by the bar and the gym. As long as you steer clear of there it only freezes when you die. And to be honest if you die while playing No More Heroes, you're a failure.

what do
forced Ntsc
forced pal50
and forced Pal60 mean?

Forces a different region, Thats why Gecko OS is built into it I believe

Burn a PAL game, Force NTSC to play it on a NTSC console, Thats assuming it works, but thats what it does.

Another game test:

My Word Coach (NTSC/U)
DVD media: Philip's DVD-R
Speed: 4x using imgburn

Results: Doesn't work, it loads, it shows the warning, but once the Ubisoft logo starts to play it freezes completly. I try the little tricks people mention (battery trick) and nothing. Also try force NTSC and still crash the same.

Try pressing the home button at the point where it says Ubisoft and then wait a little then press home button again this worked for SEGA Superstars Tennis when it freezes at SEGA logo.

I try all this technics, it doesn't work, the actually logo doesn't finish appearing actually, it stars and a bit later (DURING THE LOGO FORMING) it freezes and you hear this loud noise that stays the entire time.

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Dungeon
Version: USA/NTSC
Tested on: USA/NTSC Console.

Cinematic's freeze for a bit every few seconds. Other than that, the game runs quite well.

Default Loader settings.

The wiigator Backup Loader on my Wii says 0.1, but the info under the Homebrew Channel says 1.2. Should I have a different version, or does everyone's say 0.1 on the B.L. menu? Also do you think the lagging video will possibly be fixed in the future or is it because the DVDRs read slower than the originals?

I tested SEGA BASS FISHING on my NTSC console.

Usual long loading times and lagged SEGA logo video, otherwise the game plays great.

ok I AM SURE some of these are already posted but figured it cant hurt to help this is the list of backups i got to work on my Wii NTSC 3.2U FW using wiigators backup via the channel (wad version)forced NTSC and sometimes VIDTV patch as well with all of these but anyway the following worked for me...

Soul calibur legends
House Of The Dead 2 and 3 NTSC btw worked gr8
rayman raven rabids 2
Destroy All Humans Big Willy Unleashed Worked gr8 (awesome game btw)
castle shikigami 3
wii play
Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo Dungeons
Need For Speed Pro Street
Sonic Riders Zero Gravity
Ult board games ( i already put that in the wiki was the first game i tried)
Dragon Quest Swords ONLY WORKED when forcing pal60 IN black and white (if NTSC is forced you get a green screen)
Mario Kart Wii works but freezes after first race..
Pokemon Battle Rev. freezes after a battle but if you save after each battle you can continue your game upon reloading the disc
Simpsons game (sometimes requires me to actually RESET THE WII BEFORE IT WOULD LOAD NTSC backup btw)
DBZ:Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Green Screen when forcing NTSC works in PAL60 but black and white)
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn Works well! Forced NTSC
Starwars The Force Unleashed (USE SAVE TO GET PAST THE FIRST LEVEL then you can play with random crashes durring heavy cinimatics...

Thats what i can confirm so far hope some of this helps other users here! later friends!

Hate to ask, but how does one force a game to NTSC?

In the wiigator main menu chose config and the turn on the "force NTSC" mode....

I do it with all my backups (pal and NTSC alike) and seems to fix a lot of compatibility issues.

World War 2 :Flying Aces NTSC
Works, slow loading times.

Sega Super Stars Tennis NTSC
Does not work, stops at Sega logo same as pal version

Soul Eater: Monotone Princess NTSC-J
Works pretty well.
FMVs are slow and choppy but don't hang and can also be skipped.
Music seems to puase for a moment between dialog instances but its barely noticable.
Slow loading times.

Geomotry Wars Galaxies PAL
works like the NTSC version does but works with forced NTSC mode for color.

Korinopa PAL
Green screen on forced NTSC mode however runs in black and white normaly.

This is all I've tested so far.
Someone try some more Japanese games

Confirmed some games on the wiki. Also...

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (NTSC) is crashing on Dribble & Spitz's Boss Stage, and when visiting Block Star minigame or the Temple of Form.

Can anyone confirm this for me, please? Uploaded my save so that it could be faster/easier. Click here.
Please let me know if you tested it and what happened, thanks!

Ah, do I have to run it without a disk or something to get to the config?

Note: He is using wiigator's not waninkoko's. Wiigator's is based off of geckoos which before hitting launch game - go under settings and change forces.

Tested the following games recently, and added them to the Wiki:

Oneechanbara Revolution NTSC-J: Works good. Loading times are a bit long, but otherwise the game is fully playable.

Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes NTSC-J: Both the SB2 and SB2 Heroes discs work perfectly.
