Nope. But I can do another app for this.

Btw, I posted a "probably working" new method to patch main.dol herehttp://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=81650

A quick question:
If I change the original NTSC/U game to NTSC/J, will it create a new game savefile instead of overwriting the existing savefile?
The reason I ask is for custom GH3 disc. I'm in the process to create a custom disc and I don't want the custom game to overwrite my existing savefile.

i`ve got a question, could wiifrii do Wii Game Language Patcher(WGLP) job?
or should i use both?

I only use WiiFrii and it works fine for me (all except warioware (PAL) and bomberman (PAL)). With WiiFrii you can also choose the language.

Does WiiFrii 2.3b work fine on Windows Vista SP1?
Anyone can share that they can successfully WiiFrii the iso on Vista SP1?

My key worked perfectly for trucha & WGLPv2. However, WiiFrii does not work at all. I tried 2 NTSC-U games: Cooking Mama and Big Brain Academy. Below is the step-by-step problem:

1) Drag any of the above ISO into WiiFrii.exe
2) Command prompt window pop-up
3) Enter "d" as my option (NTSC-U to NTSC-J) as my Wii is Jap console
4) Press
5) Inside the Command prompt window, 2 new sentences appear:
[Patching from NTSC-U to NTSC-J . . .]
@@ Reading "mail.dol" from partition 1 . . .
6) Another message window pop-up saying:
WiiFrii.exe has stopped working
Windows can check for a solution to the problem
---> Check online for a solution and close the program
---> Close the program
---> View problem details:
7) When I choose to view problem details:, it appears with:
--- Program Event Name: APPCRASH
--- Fault Module Name: msvcrt.dll (I found this dll in my Vista /system32/)
--- ....... (some other details....)

Anyone encountered this problem before??

Thanks!

Thanks waninkoko for the patch.

I managed to get Trauma Center New Blood NTSC-U working on my 3.1J Wii console with 1.9g WiiKey.

Before it was only showing everything in Japanese, even the voices.

Choose each of the option as shown below when prompted.

[ Select region patching... ]
d. NTSC-U to NTSC-J

[ Available game Languages... ]
2. English

thanks,

For cooking mama PAL, I used WGLP. It worked on my Jap Wii.

QUOTE(yola_re @ Apr 16 2008, 12:26 PM) thanks then i could just use wiifrii, without using both of them (WLGP & wiifrii)

I reckon using any of it will do the job. Not really necessary to use both.

Is this also the case for PAL Wii's? That would be VERY convenient as I think the Freeloader is a bit of a drag.

Sorry mate. I wouldn't know as I haven't got a PAL version to try on.

Why not try it and choose the NTSC-U to PAL option instead.

Use a DVD+RW so as to prevent unnecessary wastage.

I'm trying to use it to patch Wiifit Pal to my NTSC-J console so I can have english menus....

As the TV is flickering with the PAL mode, I wanted to change it to NTSC-J mode...
Did everything, and think everything went ok, except that the Wii doesn't recognize the DVD-RW I used to save it.
Guess I have to use another way of patching it...
