Gotcha! that makes a lot more sense now. And I yeah I think the updated music_player plugin ini is what I was missing. I was never able to even get my songs/playlists to appear in coverflow so ill try this out later and let you guys know how it goes. Thanks again!
After trying a few different things I found out that none of my plugins were able to add roms/files anymore due to me breaking something. But after re-downloading the master pack and restarting I got the music_player working. Thanks again for the help!

I have been having a great time using wiiflow and have made a good amount of progress. There are just a couple of things that I cannot figure out and cant seem to find online.
- 1. Where are the backgrounds for the actual plugins set. I see the convention for setting the source_menu backgrounds within the source-menu.ini EX:
" [GENERAL]
background=tier-comp.png
flow=1"

But I cannot figure out for instance where the not64 plugin is being linked to it's N64 background since its plugin.ini does not have any arguments like the ones in source-menu.

2.I know you set separate categories for plugins and general, but can you set a specific category group to a plugin or source-menu (if not, then what does the cat_page argument do?)

Thanks again for all help and the amazing work you guys have put into this!

There's no setting to change for the plugins background. Wiiflow automatically use the image in wiiflow/backgrounds that is named like the platform name.
All platforms names are found in wiiflow/plugins_data/platform.ini
So for N64 it uses the file N64.png

Hello @Tetsuo Shima :-)

I'm starting with wiiflow lite and I added games and covers to the pack based on your wiiflow and your pluggins available here: *Snip!*

Should we create retroarch lists or there is a scan of the roms and an automatic list creation?

Should the covers be renamed exactly like the rom? Example: "tetris.zip" - "tetris.zip.png" or "tetris.png" is sufficient for recognition?

Here are 2 screenshots of the tree:

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Sorry, I did not make the theme and pack from that video.

I'm not sure what do you mean with retroarch lists? If you add new roms or covers in your folders, you simply press Home and click Reload Cache to show them up.

Yes, the cover names must include the rom extension, so "tetris.zip.png" is correct

@Tetsuo Shima

- I know it's not yours, but as it's your wiiflow and your pluggins that he took as a basis (if I understood correctly)
I would have liked your expert opinion on this pack ;)

- This is the info I needed. Thank you :)

- OK :cry: I have to rename a lot of cover and add ".zip" at the end.
Do you have any tips to change that easily and quickly?

You do not offer an all-inclusive package made by you on this forum?

Check the Utilities section in this post. FuzzyRenameEXT and the Bulk Rename Utility applications are helpful to automate some of this process for the covers.

Thanks mate ;) And a big thank you to @Tetsuo Shima for his post ;)
@Tetsuo Shima
Why did we remove the link from the pack I downloaded? Did I do something wrong? If so, I'm sorry.

It was a 2.83GB download that contained more than 1 or 2 ROMs. If it contained just the theme then it'd be fine to share it.

sorry for the link never do it again love this forum
Sorry @cheloruiz79 ,I thought I was doing well by sharing. :cry:
There are no roms totaly free of rights on all these consoles (games made by fans or others)?
If so, why not integrated this one? History not to have this kind of problem anymore.

Well! Back to Wiiflow! :) @cheloruiz79 @Tetsuo Shima

For the moment I have on my FAT32 / NTFS HDD: On the FAT32 partition: "GAME" folder (GC), apps: USBLoaderGX Nintendont FceuGX Snes9xGX GXGeo Wii64, Wiimednafen SDLmame .... and on the partition NTFS: WBFS (WII) folder.

If I install this Wiiflow pack on SD, do I risk conflicts with the applications which are on HDD ???

Can I use a 64Gb sd card on wii?

OK - So my next big task to cross off my to-do list is to go through all the WiiWare/VC WADs installed to my emuNand, test them and determine which ones work and which ones don't (and why). I have 275 WADs installed on emuNand and they seemed to be or hit or miss upon launch. Sometimes, I will load them and it will just be a black screen and there doesn't appear to be any action going on in the background.

The first one I tried was 1080° Snowboarding. Right off the bat, black screen issue (Not an ideal start to this testing) - Referring to the Wii CIOS EmuNand Compatibility List - it should be fine running from either d2x8 or d2x10. I ran a SysCheck and it appears I have d2x8 Final running on both slots 249 and 250. I went back in and manually selected iOS 249, and it worked like a charm.

Next game, Virtual Console game, 1942. Worked without issues.

Adventure Island: The Beginning - Same issue as 1080 Snowboarding. Had to manually power off the system as it froze to black screen on launch. Powered on again. Opened WiiFlow, selected the game but this time manually specifying it launch using Slot 249. Worked perfectly.

I've noticed that I have to do this sometimes with Wii games to get them to launch properly too. Is there an ideal configuration tweak so that I don't have to do this on a per game basis? I would think "Auto" would work well enough. What IOS is it trying to launch these games where it isn't working?

SysCheck looks fine with one glaring issue. HomeBrew Channel is not up to date. HBC should be 1.1.2 IOS58 v24.32.

You can also go into Startup Settings and
Force Load cIOS = On
Force cIOS Revision = 249

Changing settings could possibly break other games such as Guitar Hero, Just Dance, Call Of Duty. I'd bet after you get HBC updated, your issues will be fixed. I recommend doing so before you make any alterations.
