OK . I was testing the Wiiflow (1074) and Gamecube (nintendont) Works like a charm. The plugins Nês, Snes too, but when i try to load Wii games i have Black screen. I try to change the ios load (auto to 249) and the wiigames dont load. Anyone help me?

I was using the latest stable release of Wiiflow 4.2.1 almost perfectly with vWii.I had never encountered a problem.

Today I tried to upgrade to r1074 (almost to get rid of the Wii game time bug) and Wiiflow crashes everytime it tries to mount my HDD.EVERYTIME!

I understand that perhaps I have missed a lot ot important progress of the loader,so can anyone help me? Is there anything I can do to run newest version of Wiiflow without problems?

Thanks in advance!

Are you doing that on a per game basis or just in settings? Didn't seem to work for me in settings either, so I just changed to 249 manually on every game (also knock nand emulation to off)

Hi guys, I've installed WiiFlow 4.2.1 the other day and have got Gamecube games working with DIOS MIOS. I read on the compatibility list that many games have issues.

Does Devolution run some games better?

Is it possible to have both GC launchers in WiiFlow, if so, how do I install Devolution?

I have Wind Waker working, looking at the compatibility list, I am unsure if the game is fully playable to the end. Can it be completed using DIOS MIOS?

you can have both installed, Devolution goes in your apps folder on your device (sd or usb), then set the game settings to launch with it. you can also try out Nintendont as well if you don't want the hassle of verifying games with devolution.

Great thanks! So I can set each game to load with whichever loader I want and it will be saved in the configuration? I will look into installing Devolution so! It's just a wad to be installed?

EDIT: it appears you have to have the games on disc to use Devolution. The Wii can play Gamecube discs already. I don't get it.

Can anyone answer my question re Wind Waker? Is it fully playable with DIOS MIOS?

Rev 1074 crashed and here is the screen. Version 4.2.1 works perfectly so I do not know what causes the crash (yes,I tried a fresh install by deleting wiiflow.ini)

Can anyone shed some light?

I dont know whats happened, my Wii games dont load. I tried a fresh install by deleting wiiflow.ini and not working. When i use USB Loader gx Works like a charm!!!

Damn, I tried everything to get WF to read my plugins and still nothing. The source menu does not appear and when I press B it just resets WF. I checked in wiiflow/cache/lists and all I got are the wii, nand, gamecube, and homebrew files. I don't have the plugins partitions showing up nor can I get them too.. Plz help

Ok The WiiU with Wiiflow returns to work. I have to reinstall all of cios (249-250) and the wiiflow channels.

So I finally got around to investigating why some of my WiiWare/VC games won't load successfully in WiiFlow like Smash Bros and Castlevania Rebirth. The games are running off an Emunand. How do I attempt to run them in Neek2o mode? According to all of the guides and posts, there is an option to load the game using Neek2o mode on the last page of the game settings, but that option doesn't exist.

hicandturkey set your nand paths under emunand in general settings then the option should appear under the games individual settings.

ToddofWar420 sorry bud at this point it might be an issue in WiiFlow, I know recently I was helping a friend of mine set up his Wii over the phone and WiiFlow wasn't recognizing his partitions at all, not even for Wii games. When Fix gets a chance here's a dump he can look at that my friend sent me, maybe it'll help, I can also tell him to attempt getting a log if it works.

I already have the paths configured in the NAND Emulation Settings (I'm assuming that's what you're referring to), otherwise, the games wouldn't appear in the first place. If that's not the place you're referring to, let me know. Is there something specific that I can set in the Wiiflow.ini to make it appear?

I would like to just be able to set the path to plugins in WF like you can GC games, covers, etc.
I got another Wii that needs to be unlocked. Ima see if I can set that up and then just use the usb1_xxx.db files in the wiiflow/cache/lists folder and see if I can just copy/paste it to my current hard drive.
Despite this minor set back, I'm still working on new SNES covers for Mastershoes' cover thread.

Sorry I misunderstood your first post then, so you have a neek2o build in a sneek folder on the root of your drive right? Your not using an older Uneek build I assume? I just tried out Castlevania Rebirth with the launch in neek2o method, the option appeared for me in the games indivdual settings page 4.

Game launched, I have return to WiiFlow on, so it returns me to WiiFlow in e-NAND, if you want to go back to real NAND afterwards you just choose "Real NAND" in the "exit to" section of the home menu. I know that tidbit of info has nothing to do with your issue, it was general info for others.

So I created an emunand over a year ago. I believe I just created one using modmii. If I'm not mistaken I chose the Neek2o option when I created it, but I don't remember anymore. I have the emunand running off the SD card cuz performance is much better. I might just recreate it to ensure that it's Neek2o specific. Do I actually need to recreate the whole emunand or can I just simply update the sneek folder on the SD card? I recently threw updated files into the sneek folder using Abz pack. Thanks a lot for your help by the way.

Oh and yes, the SNEEK folder is on the ROOT of the SD card.

One other issue that I discovered yesterday when I was testing some of the FBA games that use retroarch, is that when you select some games in WiiFlow to play, it will code dump; however, if you select a game in WiiFlow that doesn't code dump and then change over to the other game using the retroarch menu, it will play and not dump. I've only notice this happen with 1943 and Trojan so far.

So for example, starting 1943 from WiiFlow, code dumps. Starting another game that works, and then switching to 1943 within retroarch is fine.

I'm using the most recent fba dol plugin from Abz pack which I also noticed doesn't have the RGUI like the other CPS, NEO cores and such. I can only assume this is to help with memory resources?

Neek2O is for USB emuNAND's I believe the SD version is bugged and hasn't been worked on. That's most likely the problem. Let ModMii create one with Neek2O turned on for USB choose the UNeek+DI option when building the e-NAND. Try it out then it should work.

Easier still is grab the e-NAND in Abz pack and use the official neek2o r96 provided by ModMii. Put that sneek folder on the root of your drive. Transfer the games to the e-NAND on your USB, launch with WiiFlow, Profit.

Ok so I grabbed Abz emunand, added the wiiware/vc games to it, copied the sneek folders from Abz pack to the SD and USB drives, copied the Shared2 folder from the NAND into the emunand, etc. This worked and I was able to select Neek2o Mode within the game settings.

There was one issue that I had where the Wii would start up in Neek2o mode which caused issues because the Wii wouldn't boot up with the SD card inserted. If I took the SD card out, turn on the Wii, and then put the SD card back in, WiiFlow started up fine. Except it started up in Neek2o mode which I didn't want (plus I didn't want to have to pull the SD card before starting the Wii each time). The way I fixed it was by swapping out the current bootmii file in the bootmii folder on the root of my SD card with the one found here: https://code.google.com/p/wiiflow/downloads/detail?name=Bootmii-Forwader-Loader-DWFA.zip&can=2&q=
I also configured Priiloader to boot from the System Menu instead of WiiFlow, since Bootmii is taking care of loading WiiFlow now. Now WiiFlow starts up using the Real NAND. Kudos to MassiveRican for pointing me in the right direction on this one.

There is one last issue that I'm facing. When I go to configure the Exit To: options, I don't have an option for Real NAND. I can manually exit to Real NAND by pressing the home button and choose to exit from there, but I don't have the option to directly exit to Real NAND under the settings. Any thoughts regarding that would be welcome.
