hello everyone, i wanted to know how i can make an emulator for the ds, specifically a snes emulator for the ds, if anybody can help, i would appreciate it!

im wanting to program my own from scratch, i have never programmed before. but i know what programming is, im trying to make a better snes emulator than snemulds for the ds

Do you realize there are probably a lot of other people who would also like a better SNES emulator than snemulds? And that some of those people probably know a lot more about programming than you do..?
This is like saying you don't like the Cybertruck so you want to know how to build a better electric car.

As a layman, I’m still hoping for a port of the lightweight (MS-DOS) versions of ZSNES or SNES9x on DSi.
Nowadays, with the help of ChatGPT, Claude, and the like, even the biggest moron can come across as a genius; simply by staring in awe at the final result the AI has churned out.

ZSNES is only "lightweight" because a significant portion is written in x86 assembly and is completely unportable to different architectures.
SNES9x might be a different matter, but I'm sure it's been tried by now.
