It does matter a little, simply because of the name of the game on the list. Every game with 2 disks is listed as "Game Name Disc 2". It looks a little funny.
Lets try it again, r892:

Also everyone else please test it, see how fast wiiflow loads the games for you, if the covers load, may clear your cover cache and see if the covers are reloading properly, see if your category system still works and for the collectors, please check if you can load more games now (I hope its about twice as much which can be displayed), thanks.

I've got some problems with the genplus gx plugin. After some play time it freezes when trying to access the menu or it goes to a black screen when clicking return to loader.
I use it from an USB hard drive.
Is this a known problem or does it happen only to me? I can't find any info about it
Yeah I could always use genplus retro, but it has its problems too: some games like Monster World IV or Addams Family, have shrunk horizontal resolution for some strange reason
how big is your sd i use a 32gb sd and i have no probs at all perhaps u should try that

Can it be that genplusgx-mod7 has some problem with USB drives? I will try it from SD.
Oh, I forgot to say that I'm using wiiflow in port 1, since the other port on my Wii is broken. Maybe can this be the reason?

Although you already received a response, I wanted to let you know that it is working perfect for me as well. Thank you very much!

Tried with SD (both Wiiflow and genesis games). Same exact thing.
Freezes happen pressing the home button but only after saving a game's sram, sometimes the emulator doesn't freeze but the menu takes a long time to appear.
My guess is that the genplus gx plugin hangs while it tries to create the save file, because even after a manual reset there's no save file. Maybe Genplus gx, unlike other emulators, creates the save files only after Home is pressed?
I find it very strange that nobody experienced this issue. Can anybody PLEASE help?

Won't have time to test this tonight, although I believe I've ran into the same issue before I can't be certain as I've been playing SNES and GC games mostly lately. Tomorrow I'll have a go with Genplus-GX mod7. Either way if that's the case there's not much anyone can do othen than fix94 or Fledge68 lol.

You're always very kind! The games that I'm trying to play are Monster World IV and Sonic 3. One thing that has come to my mind is that in the emulator's settings I have automatic sram saves activated. I'll check that tomorrow.... it's already 2:30 AM here ^_^'

maybe I missed it?
how do I get the second disc to not show?
You have to put the second disc in its own category, then hide that category.
To be more exact, when you press B on Favorites you get a categories list, pick 1 and press A until you have an X, then in the game settings (of the game/cover you want to hide) press B on Favorites again and select the same Category with A...presto..

its possible i never have a prob on my sd at all
It's not an usb problem, I tried with sd and the problem is still there.
Also the regular genplus gx in the app folder is working, so it's definitely a wiiflow plugin problem.
If I disable the 'auto save sram' option there are no freezes, so my guess was right.
Have you tried saving games (Sonic 3 for example) ?

WOW fix94, for me there's a highly noticeable speed increase when the covers load for emulator games like the Genesis, SNES & GBA. Those are the systems I have the most covers for. I only have 420 Wii games so only a third of what BostonBC has but, in certain coverflows, like 3 rows and Walls there's again is a definite speed increase in cover loading even when scrolling there as well. Categories are working w/o a hitch for me as well, plus another confirmation for 2 disc games being hidden for GC. Overall a fantastic release candidate for 4.1.1.

Hey bud, can you give PM me step by step how the genplus plugin gives you a blackscreen? I both saved a gamestate and saved in the game internally, and I was able to exit out of genplus-gx mod7 w/no problems. It returned to loader just fine.

However what I have been getting for a while are 682 kb randomly named files on the root of my USB drive whenever I use the plugins. Today it was 5, o, m, ypg, it's crazy, no extension but they are damn near 1Mb so it could definitely be problematic if you never delete the files. I always delete em' but I don't know what the fak they are or why they're showing up but again my guess is plugins. Can anyone else confirm if they're getting this issue?
