if you can't do number 2 then there's most likely something corrupt in your plugins folder and you need to redo your plugins folder. Also try deleting your lists folder inside your wiiflow/cache folder.

That was the problem... a file in the plugins folder was corrupt. I've no idea why tho. I hadn't touched it. Thanks for the help! I can go back to moaning about LOOM CD not working in the SCUMMVM again. lol I don't suppose you'd know anything about that? The normal version of scummvm I have is a newer version than what's used in wiiflow, not by version number, but by date. LOOM CD works fine in the standalone version of scummvm I have.

so i was looking at the mplayerce.ini plugin and I think all you have to do to play dvdrips is add .iso to the filetypes option in the mplayerce.ini. no need to change the arguments. maybe I'll test it soon

EDIT: just tested all works great. If you have your movies on fat32 I think it will only work with DVD5. if you have DVD9 they may need to be compressed to DVD5 to work with FAT32. I could be wrong.

One could have problems with both, since the DVD5 is 4.7GB in size and the DVD9 is 8.54GB in size. The problem comes about since FAT32 can only take 4GB files.

Good news :)

My app is useful to copy data (ISO's over 4 Gb) on FAT32 formatted hard drives.

i saw this on google code "Just a few words on some special things:You can use mplayer-ce, genplusgx and wiisx roms/movies from a NTFS partition, just set wiiflow to your NTFS one in the plugin coverflow. The other plugins are FAT/FAT32 only" havent tried it though

@ ABZ, perhaps you could test this and update the ini in the next pack if it works?
arguments=dvdnav:///{device}:/{path}/{name}

@ maxternal, have you tried using a tv or external monitor?
Actually, used remote desktop. It seems like the external monitor has to be activated from a window on the main monitor :dry: I compiled the Desmume Wii plugin but I haven't tested it at all. I'll post that when I'm sure it's working along with the (not so working) Mighty Channels plugin (working CFG screenshots would still be useful for me for that ... and any way to install 249rev17 as IOS252 if anyone could help me with either of those.)
No split, My app can copy file from or to FAT32 formatted hard drives (data over 4 Gb) B-)

Here you can test and Report ;)

This is interesting. I assume it reports the file size wrong or there's some other side effects that chkdsk would complain about but it's a very interesting feat there.

Sorry I don't use this plugin, however may someone try this

mplayerce-dvd.ini

[PLUGIN]
magic=4D504355
coverColor=ffffff
coverFolder=mplayerce
fileTypes=.iso
romDir=DVD
dolFile=mplayerce-svn-r673.dol
bannerSound=THX.ogg
displayname=MPlayerCE-DVD
consoleCoverID=
arguments=dvdnav:///{device}:/{path}/{name}

P.S. If it works I can add this new ini and make an icon and a missing cover for it

So I'm pressing the B button to combine sources, but it isn't doing anything different than what WiiFlow would normally do.

I'm using the Wiimote standalone, no nunchuck or anything.

Please help, as Im about to lose my mind over here. Im trying to play some gameboy and gameboy color business, but every time I load a game, vbagx plugin loads to the settings screen. If I press any of the options it either code dumps or locks up. Is the vbagx plugin broken? I tested the games with the regular boot.dol version of vbagx through the homebrew channel, and they work fine. Is there something im missing? I redid the ini files for the plugins, but nada. Has anyone else had this problem? Ive tried damn near everything to fix this problem, and its driving me crazy. Any help would be awesome. Wiiflow is the current version. I used to have gba running vbagx, but vbagx-next has much better emulation. I tried running gameboy color through that too but no dice.

849 is the last stable version here.
850-853 has coverflow loader bugs
854 has source menu issues (after loading a plugin I can't access the source menu, the last plugin just reloads)
854 didn't find the Wii games on first run, but they showed after going to another mode.

So back to 849, hopefully this gets fixed soon :)

Uneek2o rev96 is out and working great so far

Just wanted to report a couple of small bugs I noticed with 4.1.

When you boot for the first time the wiimote disconnects and you have to press a button for it to be detected (this only happens while the select partition/disable nand emulation screen shows on startup).
Once you have setup your games partition and that screen no longer shows on startup, the wiimote syncs fine.

Backup nand always fails after clean install and it seems to be linked to the nand partition setting which is set to -1 in .ini, changing this to 0 or 1 solves the problem.

Hope this helps and fix94 can squash these little bugs too :)

So I got another issue.. (I know, what now huh? lol) What was the trick to getting Skyward Sword to work in WiiFlow?
I had to reinstall the Wii Shop Channel to get my Netflix Channel back and had to update the Wii to get in. Afterwards I just rehacked my Wii again and got everything running like before but when I load up SS, it code dumps before I get to the loading bar. I forgot what I did cuz this was like a year ago. If anyone has suggestions, it would be helpful. Thanks.

I want the pic of the codedump, and make sure you dont use any emu nand or so, because that doesnt work properly.

@ Fledge68, I tried your dol, and same as before, but now b while in an emulator view resets to the same view.
I also tried editing mplayer.

Adding .iso alone didn't work. Dvd menu pops up for a second then loads straight into the movie.

arguments=dvdnav:///{device}:/{path}/{name}
makes the dvd menu stay up, a white box over one of the selections, unable to use the pointer or controller to navigate. Also, now other videos don't want to play with this argument.
