"treat people with respect around here and you will get more help." I NEVER asked for help. The only reason I even fucking posted was to mention the existence of an emunand bug and to respond to "otototot" and reccomend he use R776. I wont make the mistake of posting a single fucking thing in this thread again. a waste of my time.
Wow.

You reported an issue and then flew off the handle when a respected member asked for a little more detail.

You are splitting hairs on what it means to ask for help. Usually when I want something fixed - I report it and know enough to post a screen shot if there is a memory dump and as much detail as possible.

If Fix94 had asked for similar detail would you have likewise attacked him for daring to 'help'?

Other folks have a lot of experience in different areas and they have the right to ask for more detail without getting attacked.

I am happy to see you continue to post if you find issues but if you jump down people's throats for trying to help - then you are going to get called on it.

If there is a preferred list of people you are willing to get help from then PM directly or do what many people do and report the defect on the google code page.

I don't know if this it too technical to be implemented but ...

To have the same capability on a Wii U that we have on a Wii
would it be possible to save the cIOS to the HDD (maybe just the APP files or something) and then load them into RAM manually instead of having to load them from NAND?
I was wondering along the same lines if something like that could be implemented.

If in homebrew on Wii emulation mode on the Wii U I would wonder if you have access to the USB or other items needed to run games from hard disk.

I am sure those with that level of knowledge are working on that now.

It would be real cool to run regular Wii games on the Wii U and then hopefully somewhere down the line the Wii U native mode will be cracked.

Release day :D
At first, plugin pack is now in v7.
This plugin pack contains alot of emulators as you will notice, just check out all inis to get to know which ones are inside now ;)
Just a few words on some special things:
At first, make sure you install the "WiiFlowLoaderChannel v2 - WIIH.wad" in the wad folder of this pack if you havent done that yet, otherwise the plugins will not return to wiiflow as they should.
You can use mplayer-ce, genplusgx and wiisx roms/movies from a NTFS partition, just set wiiflow to your NTFS one in the plugin coverflow. The other plugins are FAT/FAT32 only.
Last, if you use some retroarch based emulators it might be that you need to start the original retroarch first and play a game from its original menu if you want to use the autoboot mod this pack contains.
Have fun with this pack and may check out this topic for help:
http://gbatemp.net/topic/329590-wiiflow-31-mod-installation-and-setup/
And no thats not everything, 4.0.5 is there too now!
Here is 4.0.5, and again it focuses on bugfixing, the bugs introduced with 4.0.3 are just too critical and still not fully fixed, I hope this time we have found the most annoying ones :)
In short that revision fixes more memory leaks, hopefully fixes all the device mounting issues your guys had, also plugins should display correctly now, not with the half of it missing, booting gamecube games in neek hopefully works now, wiiflow should basically run in wiiu wii mode (you cannot boot wii or gamecube games yet, channels homebrew and plugins work), added support for the new homebrew channel 1.1.1 and newer, wiiflow will automatically reload the cache if a new version is found from now on to prevent bugs or missing games, the general boot method changed from everything wiiflow can boot, that is a bit cleaner, you shouldn't notice any noticable difference though, its more in the code, also I've added a battery bar so you can actually see the power level of your wiimotes, you can find it in the home menu, the debug messages should be cleaner and more detailed now, also the wifi gecko is improved, it should be at least as good as the sd gecko now, still it cannot print as much as the usb gecko.
Yea, that should be everything important for now, we will see us with the next release again, wiiflow is not dead just because of the wiiu, its wii mode can play wiiflow perfectly fine so I wont forget working on it if anybody thought that :P
Download on google code ;)

FIX94 said: added support for the new homebrew channel 1.1.1 and newer.

Alot of people must like it already, more then 150 times downloaded in 2 hours.

Congratulations FIX :toot:

EDIT: Because i see people still asking for the latest mod, i am going to say this again.
Logon to IRC to get it or go to the Google code page and look under test versions (they may not be the very latest, for that you need to go to IRC).

Here is 4.0.5
Great release, thanks Fix94 !!
Partition #2 properly detected, and channels launch properly through emunand on that same partition!
It seems emunand config is back with more modes (full, save, region) than in earlier beta (full/partial), or it's just translation mismatch.

One last thing though: log still shows this message:
Data Directory: usb1:/wiiflow
Could you clarify why wiiflow would use that partition, which is not called-out on wiiflow.ini?
Would be nice to leave it untouched, as it is an EFI partition!

I enclose wiiflow.log

@Fix
Is it possible to hide the 2nd disc in the gamecube view in release 4.0.5?
Due to the possibility in diosmios to automatically change the disc you don't need the second disc anymore.

I switched from r804 to 4.0.5 and now it just stack dumps before wiiflow loads or hangs when loading game (black and white loading bar flashes on screen for a split second) :(

EDIT: switched back to r804 and wiiplay motion still crashes but all other games seem to work fine :/

this will sound weird, 4.0.5 should be equal to R813, however I found out that 813 managed "all plugins" better than 4.0.5 final, so you might give 813 a try and see if you get the same issue (I included mod 813 not 4.0.5 final in my last pack) if you want to give it a try it's in my Sig (Masterpiece download link)

Tried the r813 dol and it loaded once, then stack dumped second time.

Reverting to r804 works fine, but my copy of wii play motion seems to have died for some unknown reason.... pretty sure it worked before.... :/

EDIT:

r804-r808 all work just fine (wii play motion still crashes so I will make a new rip and try that game again, but all other games work fine)

r813 + the 4.0.5 from the googlecode page both are 50:50 whether it loads or dumps.

Tried clean instal of 4.0.5 and it still code dumps or hangs.

EDIT 2:

r808 loads a few of my games, but not all of them.. disney universe and wii play both load and black screen.

reverting to 804 those 2 games wont load either only black screen:(

EDIT 3:

Donkey Kong Country Returns : loading bar comes up after clicking to load game, loads half way and hangs on loading bar??

Wiiflow has always been the best for me, hardly any issues ever, but today everything is going weird :(

Final edit:

Half of my games have stopped working, I have now tested them through neogamma as well and they still dont load, I have no idea what bad luck I am having today but this sucks.

I tried:

clean install of 4.0.5 = stack dump on start up
clean install of 4.0.4 = working but now most my games are borked
clean install r813 = same results as 4.0.5
clean install of r804 = same results as 4.0.4 now, something must have gone wrong somewhere.

smash bros, NSMB (and all hacked versions of it), mario kart, sonic colours, wiifit, the zeldas all work.

Wii play motion, wii party, disney u, donkey kong all seem to have been corrupted.

With 4.0.5, i can´t play wii games in emunand, i tried clean install and has the same result... i tried with a new emunand and is the same result, just ww/vc works fine...

In real nand ww/vc, gc and wii games works fine, but metafortres games like tintin, the smurfs, we dare, prince of persia not working yet in my wii... (Black screen, freezed,....)

I tried with sneek v93 , v95 the same result.. something must have gone wrong somewhere...

4.2 u / d2x v9r49 / Hermes 5.1 / hbc 1.0.8 / emu 4.2 u, 4.3 u /

regards...

Edit: i revert to 796 and 803 is the same result... my wii turn off, How can i play my wii games in emunand, what i do wrong..??? I need i little help ... please :(

tin tin only works with sneek/uneek or neek2o. though from playing it in these environments it some time corrupts the nand.(easy fix though.).
the other games run fine on my end.(can't say if POP does don't have that game.). (just test these games cause of others saying they don't work.)
@ abdallah terro. great work on your mega pack deal. it works great. an easy for the end users.
but back on topic, it seems there are some troubles with the newest homebrew update.( changing title id an some other things to make it load on vwii on the wiiu) so might i suggest staying on the homebrew you were on before updating.(updating is not required.)
i'm still on 1.0.6 an have never had troubles.(other then user error.).

I did more experimenting with Sega CD, Sonic CD to be more specific. I was able to put the iso file and the wav music files together in one folder, and WiiFlow recognized it, and played the game with the music perfectly. I use the freeware program Boxoft Mp3 to Wav Converter. The program allows you to take all the music files that come with the Sega CD game and convert them all to wav (which genplus recognizes) at the same time.

I suggest to run a"scandisk" on your drive and SD card and to test again a fresh install (or just delete settings\gameconfig files)

Thanks shortz, glad you liked the pack :)

yeah actually any batch converter to CD quality (44100, 16bit, stereo) can do the trick
you can also create a new cue file for the ISO and WAVs using any iso tool such as IMGBurn
actually 45 sega CD games are running prefectly here with sound and music :)
