i thought emu nands had to be on the first partition.

the data directory on usb1 is a little strange since your wiiflow ini does put it on usb2. I think you need to move everything to usb1

Yes indeed Emunand on Fat32 32k 1st active partition as described in my tutorial, Emunand can either be extracted or created with modmii + cert.sys extractor

WiiFlow v4.0.5 Beta r804 Pack - The Masterpiece Fixed

I'm on 804 emunand works fine, neek2o mode too using rev95 beta1

i had a feeling you would reply with something completely USELESS like "IT WORKS FINE HERE LULZ"
(and i already stated in my original post that everything works fine with neek2o)

YES emunand works fine for 95% of people using wiiflow. I was just letting FIX94 know and anybody else having issues that somewhere in the last 30revs or so there IS AN ISSUE WITH EMUNAND. I know because I tested about 35 different revs... ANYWAYS..

Hey otototot, try a fresh install of R776 and see if you have any luck.

I'll do some more testing and see if i can narrow it down to a specific rev. but for now i can verifiy r776 works without emunand bugs and is very stable.

@seam
I wrote in English: "I'm on 804 emunand works fine, neek2o mode too" meaning I can launch titles with cIOS AND Neek2o with no issues
Game Saves work, I'm not sure what problems you're having with latest WF but what I suggest is try with a freshly baked or dumped emunand,
Nands can be v. sensitive and errors can be really weird.
It's better if you describe the errors you're having so that we can find a solution

I have everything working 100% perfectly . im trying to find what rev started introducing these bugs. you do understand that wiiflow has bugs right? and that sometimes you have to locate when they were introduced? and that not everybody experiences the same bugs? o_O also, i have about 6 different nands backed up. they didnt ALL just stop working properly.. *shakes his head* thanks for your brilliant input.

do me a favor and never talk to me again, thanks. go back to working on your MASTERPIECE IDIOT NOOB PACK 8.0 SUPER DELUXE EDITION 2012!!!

Hi AbdallahTerro... where i can download a complete Orchid Theme for r804 and spanish language...???? and congrats, your Masterpiece Pack is awesome....!!!! :)

the pack has the language files already thanks for kimotori who kindly provided them earlier however some inis needs to be updated later on (not sure if spanish is ok)
as for Orchid theme you can get it from fledge68 sig, however no custom covers there I only made those for Carbonik

As per your sys check, why do you only have 249 set to v8 and the rest set to v9?
v8 doesn't cause random freeze with wii games seen in v9beta base 56 also it handles emunand better, having v8 in all slots is also an option however I'm not facing any issues with my custom setup so far, so I'm keeping it as is :)

Yes indeed Emunand on Fat32 32k 1st active partition as described in my tutorial
Why this limitation?
Is that for Wiiflow emunand too, or just for neek2o?
Recent Wiiflow wiki does seem to require that, since one can choose and set partition for this: such flexibility is important.

Actually, as EFI spec mandates use of partition #1, it would be a good thing not to require partition #1 for wii related stuff. (it seems in 64bit world, EFI is gaining momentum).

Is it something that could be looked-at in some upcoming revs?
Thanks.

Wow, bro relax a little. Sometimes things get lost in translation especially when not all details are given. Abz is a resident Neek wizard, so he is inclined to provide his input, no need to get be rude. @Abz nice to see you don't take things personally, remarks like this get under my skin when uncalled for.

@Fix94 things are working fantastically well with r804, however I do confirm Seam and others input in launching Channels, not just in e-NAND but from real NAND as well, WW/VC is fine it's more like ninty channels for some reason.

Hope you get things back up and running soon, if you need any help please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything on our end we can do to help you get back online. @all devs, excellent work with Wiiflow loving it all.

Yes, you can use a wad manager to install the channel. It's actually region-free from what I can tell. It was probably meant to be released in the US but they never did for whatever reason.

I uploaded the wad here: http://bullet.gemakei.com/T&T.PAL.English.RF.wad
By the way I never got back to you about this, here in the states the channel works perfectly and I'm really enjoying this neat channel. I know exactly why it wasn't released here though... there's plenty of disclaimers about how to use proper judgement when it came to the hints and tips about cleaning, food, etc... I'm sure somewhere along the way if it was released in the U.S. some dumbass American with no obvious common sense and proper judgement or lack thereof, would have fucked up and sued the shit out of Ninty, claiming it's their fault for telling him to eat a vegetable he/she is allergic to or clean a toilet but the floor was wet and they had a slip and fall and brok their hip or SOMETHING lol.

Suing.. it's the American way lol.

edit: forgive the DP (no not double penetration) wasn't intentional.

just tested real nand channels in WF and both internet channel and crap channels worked fine.

to everyone having issues with nand modes, did are you on neek2o 95b2 or b3?

If yes then this is what I recommend.
1. run a scandisk on your hdd partition containing the nand stuff
2. delete "sneek" folder and replace it with uneek2o 95 beta1 (it's in my latest fixed pack) make sure no nandcfg.bin or dicfg.bin is there
3. launch neek2o channel to make sure your emunand can start correctly
4. If nand won't start then I recommend replacing it from a working backup or make a new one, you can also try less drastic measures such as reinstalling SM wad and deleting sneekcache folder but these won't always fix the issue.
5. make sure while trying to get a working nand to delete nandcfg.bin or dicfg.bin after each non working trial
6. If the emunand starts correctly test it a couple of times and if all goes well backup your working emunand along with sneek folder
7.delete WF cache lists and gameconfig files (in settings folder) and test WF nand modes
good luck

P.S. I had to restore my backup 3 times while testing neek2o 95 beta2 and beta3 that's why I removed them from the pack and added the more stable 95b1
FYI neek mode handling was changed several times by overjoy, that's why some old versions of WF might sometime work

Dude - that's uncalled for. He's trying to help and has made lots of contributions to WiiFlow - your remarks are not helpful.

Yes WiiFlow has bugs and simply finding what rev they were introduced is nice but as he said 'It's better if you describe the errors you're having so that we can find a solution'. Your note 'there IS AN ISSUE WITH EMUNAND' leaves a little bit to desire for determining a root cause.

Last thing I want to do is get into a flame war with you but treat people with respect around here and you will get more help. Telling him to never talk to you again is pretty childish IMO.

"treat people with respect around here and you will get more help." I NEVER asked for help. The only reason I even fucking posted was to mention the existence of an emunand bug and to respond to "otototot" and reccomend he use R776. I wont make the mistake of posting a single fucking thing in this thread again. a waste of my time.

I don't know if this it too technical to be implemented but ...

To have the same capability on a Wii U that we have on a Wii
would it be possible to save the cIOS to the HDD (maybe just the APP files or something) and then load them into RAM manually instead of having to load them from NAND?

What's with the animosity, if you really felt like we attacked you I'll apologize, you've been around way longer then I have, and you give great input man, just felt like you were being dick to Abz when it wasn't called for, if you have a personal issue with him I'll stay out of it.
