Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Hey m8. If you entire setup is on the usb1, then all you need is
coverFolder=fceugx
And thats it. When browsing the nes roms, provided all your games are being shown, albeit as blank boxes, click on the home button, bottem RIGHT, and then click update cache and wait.

yea I did that and they wont show and the games work fine it's just I want the covers to show and nothing I tried works and all my roms are on usb1 in root/fceugx/roms and so I don't get confused i'm only doing 3 roms with covers til I get it right and I have no tech savvy friends that could help me so i'm here oh and I've got the covers named accordingly to the roms with the .nes.png extentions I just dont know what it could be

oh and I have changed the coverFolder=usb1:/wiiflow/boxcovers/fceugx to coverFolder=fceugx reloaded cache several times and still no covers

Only other thing I can think of is to actually delete everything in the cache folder and start fresh. I have
had to do that once or twice to get my games lists all working right for some reason. Also, does the covers work for the Wii games, or other plugins?

yeah wii and gamecube covers work great, i'm going to clear the cache folder it seems everyone's situation on the covers is different cuz I tried everyone's but thanks for giving me ideas it's good to at least message to someone that knows what I mean I have no one to help out (as in friends) they don't know what i'm talking about lol

As for the video - not bad. maybe a little less game browsing and coverflow layout switching and more showing the new help guide, categories, and settings such as emunand settings page and download covers page. you don't have to change anything in the settings or change any categories just let the viewer see what the menu pages look like. Otherwise good job.

hmmm.. seems like your'e doing everything right. let us know if you get it figured out. i'd be curious to know what the problem was.

Neek2o_NK20_1 & Back 2 Read-Nand - I already have a neek2o channel that allows you to return from emu-nand & real nand vice-versa are these two necessary?

Does the N64 plugin use the Not64 mod by Extrems, or just the last official beta from years ago?

WiiFlowLoaderChannel is used to go back to Wiiflow on Game exit (and yes it's hidden) you need this on both real and EmuNand
Neek2o_NK20_1 & Back 2 Read-Nand are the same "nswitch" channels. they have different banners.
Neek2o_NK20_1 has Uneek banner to be installed on real nand. While back 2 nand should go on your emunands

I vote B as well it looks very fresh. Edit: Well it's late but screw it my opinion will be voiced regardless Glad "B" won the frame vote. Keep up the great work everyone and Nibb stop the douchiness the man knows what he's talking about. I have multiple NANDS and was having similar issues.

Sorry I haven't been able to report sooner, I don't have much free time lately and by the time I can give my input Fix usually makes changes or resolves the problem lol.

yes ... if you choose all plugins would mplayer-ce categories work for all the other plugins? no - So yes you have categories for all plugins as well as individual plugins. Personally I think mplayer-ce is the only one that really needs individual categories. All the rest could just go under all plugins.

when I start the scummvm plugin, I don't have at the beginning of monkey island 2(german) the keyboard.
I can not answer the safety query, because there are to write a few numbers.
is there a trick?

For MI2, just put any answer in the copy protection screen and it should be bypassed (e.g. type 00 and 00)

but i need a console (virtual-keyboard) to write it. when i start mi2 is not available.
in other games does the keyboard work.

have it tested again. in other games, the keyboard does not work either. I've wasted with the normal scummvm emulator.

I think the main questions should be, how is NAND installation, Wii game installation, game save extraction and neek2o game launching working for everyone? If all is well than hell yeah we got a bad ass release right around the corner I'll post my results here prior to Sunday of course.

Feel free to add any important questions I might have missed that's relevant to this rev.

btw I just wanna say I love what everyone does I have been a member since 2009 and the new wiiflow made me dust off my wii and get active in the fourms

Does the magic number in your plugin ini match your source ini?

sweet i can use 4.0.x ... every thing works great.(just two problems). themes i guess those got an update. so i'll be updating mine.(dsi dump when i try to change from default to any of my themes.) an for some strange reason my covers for movies will not show. no matter what i do. but other then these two issues. wiiflow is working most excellent.

If you get codedumps with some themes, then please upload one theme so I can try it out, I dont want to have bugs in wiiflow.
