I'll try this too.
In the meantime @Fix94 can you please build the 339 with old library (libfat, ntfs...) to see if this solves the speed issue.
I deleted the cache lists and now I'm like waiting forever... help

I'm using new libs and don't have any issue with slow downs at all when loading flow modes but can confirm coverflow with having to hit 1 to recycle views

I'm on r339 and only have slowdowns while loading one of the emulators. I have full rom sets for all of the emulators supported, which must be a few thousand. I have the wiiflow folders on sd card, but the roms themselves on usb. I have extend list check set to no, but I still wait about a minute for the screen to pop up, but only for the emulators. My emulated nand games don't show up anymore when they did in past revisions. I have the seven files on the root of my usb. Maybe I'll play around with throwing them on the nandemu folder in wiiflow and see if they pop up.

hey fledge, do you think u can make an option for this to select what you do and don't want to display in this menu? for instance, if i wanted to remove "real nand" and "homebrew" from displaying on this menu? or maybe move them to page 2. maybe in an .ini or something. its not a HUGE deal... but i think it would be pretty cool if you could customize what appears in this menu. thanks
I have not looked at the code, but it should respect the "disable=" parts of the wiiflow.ini. If not then that needs to be added.

Hi yardape8000. great job on all your additions to wiiflow. yes it does check if views are not enabled or parental blocked. if they are then a message appears at the bottom which says ** DISABLED **

@seam - I could hide specific buttons but then it would look really weird like someone with missing teeth not that people missing teeth are weird. :) I'll look into it but don't get your hopes up because it may take a lot of recoding. for now just ignore them and pretend that they're not there.

Been workin' on different 'flows for different style boxes.. check it out! I'm still adjusting things, but it would be cool if there was a way to put your preffered "coverflow number" in the .ini somewhere for each emulator. (i.e. Coverflow=2) or something.. I don't know how that would conflict though if you select multiple plugin's that would have different sizes. Maybe there would be a way to default to "coverflow 1" if multiple plug-ins with different sizes were selected? OR in a perfect world, have it "auto-switch" coverview's based on the rom extension and it's corresponding "coverflow=?" in the .ini (mentioned above)??? That would be THE SHIT!! I dunno, just a thought!

Also, just fyi, added the Gameboy Classic & Color sets from thecoverproject.net (sized 1090x458) as well as some cleaned up sg-1000 full boxes I grabbed from smspower to my cover thread! Check out the link in my siggy. :)

After deleting and rebuilding the cache files, things are a bit faster now except for emuflow mode (this one is giving me a headache), So I'm fine after disabling the Emulators for now. Can anyone else confirm slow emu-mode with (huge # of roms) - I already see one on this page already.
TC

edit: I didn't add any roms lately, only changed wiiflow dol and updated the themes with the new emu-button, things were much faster for emu-mode before!

wiiflow r339, I install in emunand WiiWare, but does not see them.
USBloaderGX it's ok
wiiflow r251 it's ok
help me please!!!

Ok a little assistance here, maybe?

1 I can't get my snes covers to show. they are in the boxcover folder and are named as *.zip.png (what is the procedure for when there is a duplicate game name? as in addams family values snes and genesis? )
2. My Genesis games will not show up at all. I've added .bin to the ini file as available type. romsdir points to the right place...

Emu mode takes about 30+ seconds to come up for me with about 5000 games. Last time I checked it was with r331. Since I still am getting crashes/hangs exitint emu games I am not using it.

Hot off the presses... r341 r344

I even (hopefully) fixed the "Set USB failed: -6" dug bug.

Those having that problem, please let us know. Those without the fault, let us know if this causes problems.

Thanks.

[EDIT] it shows r340 in the about, but I forgot to update the rev before compiling. It is r341
now at r344 due to r341 bug

1. In the INI file for the plugin add the "coverFolder=snes" option and move all your SNES covers to /wiifloow/boxcovers/snes/ and then the same for Genesis, etc.
2. The only thing I can thing of, is it on the same partition?

Freaking awesome work mate!

Howd you change the box colours in emu modes (per box colours?)?

Didn't FIX94 ask all of us not to post links here of MOD beta revs?

Yardape8000, if FIX agreed on this with you then sorry for my post. Maybe i missed that..

yep, it was agreed to, because of the nature of the Set USB failed problem.
but then I managed to break something too. I fixed one line of code, but not the "if" that went with it. (testing path.end serves no purpose, it is always empty)
It's been discussed with Overjoy and now we have r344

[EDIT] I modified the earlier link to use r344

If it's not too much trouble: does anyone have a "blank" theme file? I really want to make a theme, but I'm a bit discouraged in trying to find all of the buttons and configurations from all the options that were added since I last checked a year ago.

here's the default.ini with all the buttons and labels and stuff. it's not blank but all you need to do is replace things after the = with yours. good luck - there's a lot there.
