Anyone tried running re-compiled R304 IOS222 version? I'm getting a black screen. It's what i've been using ever since. Hermes V4 222 with 27+38 merged installed in that slot. It was working with all revisions and the old R304 version with the code dump on multiple synced wiimotes issue.

decided to fire up mp3 again and it has froze for me twice now using wiiflow WBFS partition!!
The final release will have a replaced music system. We hope to have better support then.

Just a guess: "mp3" also stands for a popular music format. I take it r-win thought your wiiflow froze up when using an mp3 as background music.

If I read your post it's not the mp3 which is corrupted. And I still think an mp3 contains music

Anyway, the new music system is a more save, better and stabler implementation made by dimok for WiiXplorer. It allows us to control buffers and memory better, and I hope you will get no freezes anymore with this implementation.

Not. It has no priority, and I think you saw us saying that we are going to implement this after we've created a new release. r304 was a Release Candidate, which means we are now focussing on creating RC2. Unfortunately we've had to make some pretty thorough changes to the core system to fix some nasty bugs, like HDD's not being detected, and freezes. That means that we are gonna need a pretty long period of testing, which we would like to do mainly in the public (with you guys, that is). Loading with IOS58 is still scheduled, but AFTER the release of Wiiflow 2.2. The same goes for NAND emulation, and other new requests.

OK this may be a silly question but how do I know WHICH WiiFlow to download ??

On the Download page there's 'r304-222' to 'r304-250', which I'm guessing has something to do with IOS (eg 'r304-222' uses 'IOS222') & since I have NO idea what IOS's are etc how do I know I won't bugger up my Wii with the wrong one

the -222, etc behind the r??? is just which cIOS you would like it to use when it boots up. I like 222 but some like 249 the difference is which ever one works best for your

try them out but i would recommend you start with 222 to see if it works for you then goto 249 and optionally 250. I avoid 249 cIOS builds unless 222 doesnt work in which case i use it as a fallback cIOS to say. I've just had bad exp with 249 cIOS. (the cIOS in general, not just with WiiFlow)

Hello!

I am a completely beginner in using wiiflow - now I am asking for your help!

My system: Wii, firmware 4.3 E, softmodded via Indiana Jones hack.

WiiFlow v2.1 r228,
IOS 250 rev 65535, base IOS 38

Untill now, I could play my iso-Games on my ntfs harddisc. Transfered the iso files with wii backupmanager und renamed them to ID-name. All games function without problems. The only game, that is not recognized by wiiflow is super mario galaxy 2 (shows up in wii backupmanager as super mario galaxy more, ID=SB4P01). This is the only game, that does not show up by wiiflow. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I could solve this problem - started again from the beginning and now I am again at v2.1 r228.

Additional question. How can I update v2.1 r228 to v 2.2 r304? The online update is saying, I have the newest version installed.

Can I update as descriped below?

Uninstall v2.1 (deleting all files) from my sd card.

Download v.2.2-RC-1 (No-dol).zip, extract and copy to SD card. Download r304-250.zip (corresponding to my IOS), extract and rename to boot.dol. Then copy boot.dol to apps/wiiflow directory.
Start wiiflow via forwarding channel (starnight forwarder)???

Hi all this is my first post on the wiiflow board, and i have a question regarding Call of Duty Black Ops Via Wii flow

I use cios 249 to boot the loader and cios 222 base57 to boot the game and no matter what i do when i go online i never get a connection better than 2 bars on wii flow.(on a wbfs partition)
If i use cfg loader with the same settings then i can get a better connection on black ops online. (works as you expect on the wii the disc channel to)

I Thought this was worth mentioning as i thought it was my imagination at first but ive had this issue since november, and was wondering if anyone else has nocticed this and if their was a possible fix for this.

Also what does it mean when wiiflow sometimes beeps when booting up games thanks

Just let WiiFlow download them and create the cover cache files. If you are worried about a couple hundred mb of space on your hdd, you can delete them afterwards. They should be [source]/wiiflow/boxcovers. As of now the only way to boot wiiware titles is if you have them installed as channels on your wii.

My favourite loader. I think you guys have to add to make the .wad directly reachables from USB, like µloader. It would be awesome !

As R-win already mentioned a few posts back, wiiware/VC games are going to be implemented in a future release, i am not sure however if this is like µloader or more like Triiforce (in this method games first need to be installed to the EMUNAND on the HDD/SD).

(edit: µloader also uses EMUNAND, but a different one then Triiforce, as far i know starting a game directly from a wadfile is not possible)

Hey all,

Quick question regarding Wiiflow. I don't have an active internet connection on my Wii but I wanted to take advantage of the ability to display covers and fanart etc. with Wiiflow. Is is possible to download the images on PC and transfer them? Is there a low hassle way to do this?

Thanks.

There are more ways, but easiest is probably to use your HDD or SD (depends on where the wiiflow folder is installed).

You can download the covers from http://wiitdb.com/.
Fanart can be downloaded from http://www.wiifanart.com/.

Place the files in the corresponding wiiflow subfolder.
