@mydog:

Would you please put your top post into
Code:
[spoiler] and [/spoiler]
boxes? It's a pain to load...
edit: Thank you

I'm still running r14. Is r17 much better? I was kinda waiding till all the new versions got sorted.
Not much better, but a lot of improvements from rev16
If everything works, don't update
Else give it a try

Ok Boyz. I've build a release of wiiflow that run on new hermes cioses 222/223/224.

Sounds great

. It's good to see that this still gets updates, and I hope that it will soon be stable and up-to-date again...thanks

.

Though, I have a small request, and I want this so badly...so sorry, I'll keep advertising it, until it's done

.

Like you maybe know, I'm currently working on making Gitkuas Theme for WiiFlow (since he wasn't on for about two months, never released it, and it's simply awesome). And, I think I quite got his idea, and like he and I said before, it would look awesome with Fanart. An Example? After the break:
(Small and quick Mockups. Not yet finished)

Before:

With Fanart:

See how awesome it would look

? And as far as my coding knowledge goes (which isn't that far sadly, otherwise I would do it for myself), the code for this is already there. Just search for the Fanartpic when selecting a game (Pic named with the first 3 ID letters. So Mario Galaxy Fanart would be named RMG.png), display it, and display all the other stuff over it. Realy Code that's already there. Though, I don't know how much memory is left, and if this could be done on the memory-side...

So, I'll hope that someone can do this

. Thanks in advance!

ok please add somewhere the number of games installed

i'd rather like to see the new features implemented in the official version off wiiflow worked on by r-win and companions, don't create any offspring loaders, 1 Wiiflow is more than enough

Maybe im asking too much...but i dont see in good eyes where this going.
Wouldnt worth to place this "active" working persons on the dev team...helping the senior devs here?

Is just we get through many weeks without a single post of an update being made on the project, and i would like to know this hasnt died...

Its a question made to it's "owner" zorglub. Wouldnt be interesting to bring new devs to the project and make this go...somewhere?

Sad...this is being called an "abandoned" project.

its not Abandoned, I just talk to R-WIN and he is still working on it .. add fat 32 and NTFS in it ..
he has to get the bugs out before he release it ..thanks...

@Blue-K i really like the look of that skin, its very clean and looks nice, fanart would complete the experience i agree but i would be really worried about memory, i dont know exactly where its at but i do know some hdd's already take some time to load the covers when you flip really fast through them, but perhaps it could work if there was a slight delay in the display of the fanart itself? In this way if your flipping through boxes fast its not trying to load 50 fanart at same time, i dont know just a thought, wish i could be more help :/

Also what exactly is changed in a version of wiiflow for the hermes IOS's? you just fix compatibility or take advantage of the new features like save games on sd card? Also what source did you incorporate this into? there is still an "official R28" and vip rev10 out there that has categories in it

I for one would like to see a version that supports fat with .wbfs files and supports the new features of Hermes cIOS 222/3/4 especially the sd NAND gamesaving.

In the past few weeks I've had other things to do (personal stuff). I'm still not sure of the time I have for coding in the upcoming week. Right now, I've converted the wbfs stuff to C++ classes, so that I can add it easier to WiiFlow. Also, I bought a USB Gecko (finally), which should make development a bit easier.

Let's just say that this project is not abandoned for now, and I'll try to keep you guys up to date. Talking about a time frame, I expect to be able to deliver something early next week, but don't shoot me if it's later...

Hi. I recently downloaded Wiiflow off straight from HBC and now when I open Wiiflow Channel, a black screen comes up saying "Exception ISI Occured" and a bunch of codes come up with Stack at the bottom with no other codes below stack. My firmware is 4.2u and I use a Toshiba 698g Ext HDD. I downloaded Wiiflow 1v1. Any way to fix this?

Thanks for the info.

I noticed on waninkokos twitter that he changed the path for something in cios rev18 when it comes out.
I take it that the loaders will have to update in order to work with rev18.

i was concerned that since wiiflow is worked on much anymore that it would be forgotten and not be compatiable with Rev18.

Yeah, I noticed that too

We'll have to check that when he is ready with Rev18...
