Hacking Wiiclip V3 with 4.3E

I have a Wii which I haven't been using since 2007... I had it on firmware 2.2E. I decided to get it out and play again, so I updated it to 4.3E without thinking.. So now I have my wiiclip v3 not working. I get the "the game data cannot be read" or something on trying to go past the start screen.

Does anyone have any idea if this can be remedied? Im thinking of soft modding it but not sure either.
