The whole gaming industry is to make money, what else?

I wouldn't say the whole gaming industry is about making money, some developers like Suda51 are more focused with the creativity aspect and have an overall goal of making a good game, but for the most part you're right, they're greedy bastards

Actually they do. If I compare Fifa 99 to Fifa 09 than there's a clear development such as adding extra depth to passing and shooting which improves gameplay significantly.

The only problem though is the emulators aren't all that great. But the backups, if you back up all the games.. wow, you'll have a library. My sister's boyfriend has burned all of his games up to.. about March this year I think, he's in the 900's.

I guess another positive about modding the Wii is you can get DVD Playback as well.

DVD playback is only possible on older Wii's. Ninty changed the disc drives.
Why did he burn every game? You can get USB loading .......far better for storage.
+ Burned DVD have a relatively short lifespan...After about 5 years they will die..

That's more aimed at a kiddy audience in my book, and those games also didn't have that much success.
Again, if the companies keep earning a lot of money with these unoriginal games, why would they look for a new formula?

You are probably right...I love soccer, but I liked strikers charged as a game more.
Just to let you know.. I play Soccer in "real' life since i was 4. So in my book ANY footy game is for kids.
I geuss I'm more of an original idea, art work, twist on things, kind of guy.

Though I like PES now and then online. But I only need one PES on my console.
