Hacking Wii U - Virtual Consoles

Hello everyone, been awhile since I was last here and just need something cleared up. This is what I have done, all on VWii.

The Homebrew Channel.
FCE Ultra GX 3.3.4 to play Nes roms.
Snes9x GX 4.3.2 to play Snes roms.
Not64 to play N64 roms.
Nintendont to play Game Cude isos.
VBA GX 2.3.2 to play gb/gbc/gba roms.

And as far as I understand it, the updates and dlc on Wii U doesn't affect the VWii right? And that has been the case, everything has been working good since I did all that back in 2015 on VWii. Now I want to Buy, New Super Mario Bros on the Wii U virtual console. Can I do this, and it still won't affect the VWii side? Just don't want to mess up my system so wanted to ask here first. Tried looking but maybe I'm just not good at looking around on here.

Yes you can buy whatever game you want and it won't affect the vwii

Update to your heart's content etc - vwii will be fine
