Hardware Homebrew app Wii u installation problem

Hi, I have been installing some games on my hdd lately, got them on usb helper, put them in my sd card and install them using wup installer gx2.
It worked fine until yesterday, where I was installing mk8 and the installation stopped at 27%, wup installer would stay like that for a couple of seconds and then the wii u would give me the hdd power supply error, 160-2713, and every time I try to download it happens again.

Notes:

• Smaller games like virtual console ones still download
• The Hdd works perfectly, can still play all the previously downloaded titles
• The Hdd is in a usb hub with a power supply
• The same exact thing happens with nuspli lite
• Using aroma

Y cable can sometime still pose issues, so
Try another enclosure with external power supply.

The thing is that I don't think thats the problem, before this happened I dumped botw from my physical disc and installed it with wup, a much bigger game and I had no problems and the weird thing is that since I posted I continued testing and noticed that the hdd in the enclosure had iis power button light on, indicating that the hdd was still on, anyways I may try buying a new one, thx.

Well in fact this is a case by case scenario, I mean some people use Y cable just fine, but others, like me, can only get games like Zelda Wind Waker HD to work using an enclosure with external power supply, so you have to try yourself. In my experience the one with individual power is the safest.
With 2 drives you can easily determine where the root cause lies by switching them.
And another not so rare reason is your box's power supply failed not long ago.
