Hey guys,

can someone give me informations about the 5.1 exploit?
Source code, how it works, and everything else?

I'm a "normal" C(++)-Developer and want to find out how this Wii U hacking works.
I read the last comments here and thinking about entering "this".
A lot of comments are like "I can't develope and have no time to learn only for hacking the Wii".
Or the other side "Why Hykem not release something in time".

So maybe I get the chance to do something beautiful.

Thanks in Advance!

the userspace exploit that's available today on 5.5.1 is stagefright : https://github.com/yellows8/wiiu_browserhax_fright

Useful post for Wii U hacking information (related to the OSdriver exploit that works up to 5.4.0 and got patched on 5.5.0) : https://gbatemp.net/threads/osdriver-kernel-exploit-a-technical-description.395444/

also u got a lot of documentation of the system here : http://wiiubrew.org/

Have fun.

I'm wondering, does the DRC have bluetooth capability, or it's wifi/nfc only? If it has bluetooth capability, we could possibly modify the DRC's firmware to both receive the Wifi video signal and emulate the Wii controller through bluetooth... and no IOSU or PPC kernel should be required to modify the DRC's firmware...

pretty sure the gamepad has a bluetooth card right by the nfc board. should have looked closer last time i was inside to see if there is a chipset/brand tagged

I think that's it

Quick question: Is libwiiu still "the way to go" for making homebrew or is there another devenv being worked on, maybe behind the scenes?

Because that's definitely an answer.
I mean it's the best answer anyone has lmao everyone has their own makeshift build to get stuff compiling with hax, unless someone decides to take the initiative you're gonna be doing the same. My build is just editing libwiiu/coreinit.h to include 5.5.0 addresses and then fixing makefiles as I need them

the wii u in general needs a much more expansive and stable ppc homebrew library to achieve anything besides piracy. it's something i/we would like to look into before IOSU hax go public, ideally...
It'd be nice to see the Wii U reach the level of homebrew the 3DS has at the moment, it's still a stretch though.

Right now the most notable stuff (outside of Loadiine) is the NES and GB emu (the later has jusy received an HBL bootable ELF file), Asteroids for Wii U, Pong and FTPii U.

One thing to note about FTPii U is that dimok seems to have ported the app from the Wii to the Wii U.
I don't know much about the details nor how hard and how many changes he did overall, but I say asking him would be a way to go for it.

Thankfully the Wii U's windows'y linking model makes it really easy to just write a bunch of wrapper functions without violating copyright or anything. There's a bit more work beyond that, but nothing quite as complex as what ctrulib needs. ctrulib has a lot of wacky issues due to the nature of the 3DS that aren't really present on the Wii U.
Anyways, once we've got privileged-enough code exec (need to build an exploit kit from scratch off a kernel vuln we know of, stabilize that code, etc since SALT isn't partnered with anyone atm) I expect to get some work in on that. I need to pry myself off the 3DS, anyways...

Hi!

few day ago spoofed my wii u to 5.5.1 E (from 5.3.2 E) it was okay but today i just deleted all settings from the settings menu so i wiped all data from my wii u (tubehax dns was on). After that the spoof remained and tvii icon is still remained too but if i launch any exploit the screen just turn black and little white lines appear and that all.

Any idead whats happened? On the vWii side the hacks still remained and works.

Thanks for your answear either is good or not for me. :(
