Well you can transfer any data, including save data, from the 8/32GB on the Wii U to an external hard drive, so once we're able to decrypt the drive to access the raw data, then it should be possible to transfer it to another hard drive and re-encrypt.

Does this mean that emuNAND might be possible so that we can continue to use online services without losing the kernel mode exploit?

I have also wondered if the exploit will allow programs built from the Wii U SDK software to be tested on a retail Wii U so that I will not have to buy a developer version soon.

with a comment like this im guessing some people have access to the external file system? But then if im right then how would this enable anything other then piracy? My opinion is probable completely wrong tho. If somebody would like to drop a hint.!!
