Is there any possible clues as to when we will see some of this work? (Would be kwl for xmas prezzie)

What can be done with home-brew?

Well you can transfer any data, including save data, from the 8/32GB on the Wii U to an external hard drive, so once we're able to decrypt the drive to access the raw data, then it should be possible to transfer it to another hard drive and re-encrypt.
with a comment like this im guessing some people have access to the external file system? But then if im right then how would this enable anything other then piracy? My opinion is probable completely wrong tho. If somebody would like to drop a hint.!!Well you can transfer any data, including save data, from the 8/32GB on the Wii U to an external hard drive, so once we're able to decrypt the drive to access the raw data, then it should be possible to transfer it to another hard drive and re-encrypt.

Glad I have read that before updating to 5.3.2. Immediately removed wi-fi settings on Wii U![]()
What did he say yes to?

is there a link with updated FAQ, if so it would be useful :sYou can click on the little Up Arrow to the right of "NWPlayer123 said:" and it will take you here:

Unfortunately, it looks like this latest progress might not be all that useful to those on 5.3.0, at least initially upon its release.
(Hoping I won't have to buy another Wii U.)

I thought something was coming very, very soon...

Oh, I thought you were talking about the kernel exploit. I have no idea when it's coming since I have no access to it but I'm guessing some time before the end of the month.

So, what is it that is coming? Would it allow save trading/downloading or cheats?
