im not doubting they have , just the lack of any demo.. i know weve had info re tri core race attacks and some hashes , and some cryptic diagrams here n there .. but a demonstration i wouldnt call it per se.

Wasnt an attack on f0f's work , more foxi's wording.

AFAIK ocbd never had access to any private Wii U information, but I can confirm that f0f hacked the console less than 1 months after it was released and shared information with people, including our small team working on GamePad reverse engineering.

Of course, you'd have to trust that we're actually working on GamePad RE etc. We've posted one video in the past of using a PC as a Wii U GamePad, for more nice demos you'll have to wait 8 more days.

For those who missed it, 30C3 is the thirth annual "chaos computer congres"
The c3 refers to the 3 c's from chaos computer congres.
Previous versions of this congres were often used to demonstrate hacking progress of equipment with stunning demo's.
It's a congres for hackers, for people who need to prevent hacks and for people interested in hacking.
Most presentations are given by famous hackers and members of famous hacking groups.
The stuff they demonstrate and talk about is pretty technical. It's not like they will give you a step to step tutorial how to hack your game console.
This year, Team f0f will give a presentation about how they were able to hack the wiiu in about a month.
They will probably show some security mistakes Ninty made in their design.
Delroth will give a presentation about the reversing of the inner workings of the communication between the Wiiu and it's gamepad.
While it was rumored longtime that Ninty used a Broadcom chipset designed for video streaming, they figured out it's a wifi N connection on the 5 gigaherts band
with some twisted security system to prevent normal wifi n systems 2 connect. (I don't know more details either, and I don't even know if all I write here is
correct.) As the knowledge of the inner gamepad working won't lead to piracy, it might be used as a framework to use the gamepad as display gaming adapter for a pc.
Another possible use could be to use a pc as an additional gamepad for the wiiu. We might even see Android tablets being used as Wiiu gamepads.
(Hell what? I like a little attention as well.) So, you might delay your christmas shopping a little until you know which wifi N adapter is compatible with the wiiu
and uses an open minded chipset.
This information is a little off topic, but since the 4 horsemen seem to be out for a ride, I might as well post it here.
I wouldn't be suprised if Delroth corrects some of my writing. It means I need to read more carefull as well....
