I got my wii a few days ago, upgraded to 3.4 then heard about the awesomeness of the starfall. Downgraded to 3.2 and installed it no problems. Wii Shop still works like a charm. I'm going to start on my mates wii as well, but I'm not sure what firmware he's on yet.

Here's the question(s):

* If he's on 3.2 and I install starfall and whatnot, will the Wii Shop and various other channels still work?
* Would upgrading to 3.4 then downgrading again be a better idea if I want to keep these channels working?

Oh yeah, it's my first post, gbatemp = awesome.

My opinion, if you want to be on the safe side, just do EXACTLY what you did for yours, so update to 3.4.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

    @Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

    Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
