Some decent looking releases, only one I really want though.

These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they <b>make </b>dates up for pre-ordering purposes so not all can be trusted. These dates could also be <b>"shipping dates"</b> which usually means that that's the date when games get <b>shipped </b>to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or <b>after</b>.

Some games may get <b>delayed </b>some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it <b>doesn't</b> mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time.

Have patience and remember scene releases are not a right but a privilege.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

<b>My Wanted Level:</b> Don't care one bit
<b>Forum Wanted Level:</b> Doesn't seem to be any hype at all

<b>Region:</b> North America <b>Genre:</b> RPG Dungeon Crawlers.
<b>Developer:</b> ChunSoft <b>Publisher:</b> Nintendo

Not quite an all new game, just think of it as another version of the first title. Sort of like how Yellow/Platinum/Emerald are just rip offs to the main series.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky expands on the fun found in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. Players become a Pokemon and team up with a partner Pokemon. Together the two set out on an adventure of exploration and discovery, ultimately saving the world from destruction.

With additional Pokemon to become, new Special Episodes and enhanced communication features, this is a grand adventure with a moving story and stunning finale. This game is a great starting point for players to enter the world of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and for returning players to discover even more secrets.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
For Pokefans and dugneon crawling freaks only

<b>Forum Wanted Level:</b> No one cares

<b>Region:</b> North America <b>Genre:</b> Platformer
<b>Developer:</b> WayForward <b>Publisher:</b> Warner Bros.

I didn't really have any interest in this until I saw who the developer was...yeah its Wayforward! They do good 2D platformer! Its based on some movie that is based on a book.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Where the Wild Things Are is a fun-filled adventure that takes players on a journey through the mysterious island of the Wild Things. Players assume the role of Max, "King of All Wild Things," as they team up with the fearsome but loveable creatures. While journeying across their island, players learn amazing new skills and abilities. Solve action puzzles, overcome challenging obstacles, and play through a unique story narrative to uncover the mystery behind the hostile island and save the Wild Things before it's too late!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Wayforward have done some bad games, mostly licensed titles but when given enough time they can churn out a very good game. They can make a good Sabrina Teenage Witch game on the GBC so that says something.

Another year and another FIFA game
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->FIFA Soccer 10 features core gameplay refinements based on responsiveness and intelligence. The Wii one wasn't as revolutionary as the other consoles versions and I doubt this one will either but there hasn't been a bad FIFA game (minus the Street ones) on the DS so its worth a play for football fans.

A long long tiem ago there was a NES game where you fed a blob beans to get past certain obstacles and puzzles. It was very good and spawned a sequel on the Gameboy. There was going to be a new game for the DS but it just got cancelled. Luckily Wayfroward are around to remake this title in beautiful 2D on the Wii.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->The classic platforming adventure of a young boy and his jellybean-eating blob returns to the Wii in a completely new, refreshing gaming experience. Developed by WayForward and based on the beloved 1989 NES original, the rebirth of this classic title expands upon the original platform adventure and features groundbreaking hand-drawn and painted animation technology.

In A Boy and His Blob, an evil emperor has seized the throne of Blobolonia, and the fate of its inhabitants lies in the hands of the blob and a young boy he encounters when he crash lands on Earth. Playing the part of the boy, gamers must work together with their new blob friend to solve puzzles, defeat monsters, and escape danger on Earth and Blobolonia. By feeding the blob jelly beans, players can activate his special abilities to transform him into helpful tools -- including a ladder, trampoline, parachute, cannon, shield and many more. Every different blob form aids the boy as he navigates 40 side-scrolling levels filled with hidden treasures and unlockable bonus content on the way to the Emperor's Citadel. Classic beans such as Licorice Ladder, Apple Jack, and Tangerine Trampoline, are joined by all-new jellybeans, including Bubble Gum Bubble and Caramel Cannon to provide a brand new play experience that only Wii can provide!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

So I want to try the DS one because its by Wayforward but the Wii version is by Griptonite Games who have done more bad games than good and Amaze who have made have also done about the same.

The 360 version is said to have had some good previews but Wii versions of multiformat releases, especially movie tie in ones do tend to be quickly and badly done. I'm not sure if those screens are Wii as thats all I can find and they look roughlt the same as the other versions.

Once again the only decent release is a SRPG. We had a nice discussion about that genre.

It might be the only decent one, but it doesn't look to great...

A Boy and his Blob is the only interesting thing for me, I quit playing Fifa on my DS a long time ago.
A Boy and his Blob looks amazing, hopefully the scrubbed version isn't too big so I can have it soon.

Well, the mention of Hero Saga reminded me that Might & Magic is due out later this month, and I'm really looking forward to that. But Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games has, surprisingly, been getting some good buzz, at least the DS version, anyway. I just tried out the demo off the Nintendo Channel, and the control of downhill skiing was pretty fun. The graphics aren't quite up to snuff for either Nintendo or SEGA, but they're doable.

The rest of the week looks pretty uneventful. I can understand the appeal of a Boy and His Blob, but I'm not all that thrilled with the approach WayForward has taken with the game.

Theres supposed be a lot of high quality video on it so I'm guessing it'll be about the same size as Wario Land Wii. I based that on pure speculation.

QUOTE(dragonbladerxx1 @ Oct 7 2009, 06:14 PM) omg when is Phantasy star zero DS coming out!!!
Some sites say US November 10th, others just say "Fall 2009". I guess Sega are waiting to see how games do this holiday season before announcing a proper date.

Europe I think was said to be in Spring next year.
