Gaming wii music

I've got a back up pal copy of wii music which is asking for an update?
Im currently on 3.1E and have a updated wiikey fitted and as yet ive managed so far not to have to update as high as i believe its now 3.3/3.4.
Am i ok to let wii music update my system or will it have an effect on my ability to play ssbb and kart?

Wii Music has the 3.3 update as far as I know. This means you won't be able to play trucha signed discs and the freeloader. Maybe there's some other stuff too.

You can still use the twilight hack though and through hacking you can get your firmware back to 3.2

I myself have still always blocked every update through freeloader, so I'm still on 3.1 myself, just to be safe.
