I don't know why but when I tried to load a game on my wii from usb (using configurable usb loader) it loads to the screen showing to put the wrist strap on and then the screen turns black. It then either freezes the wii or crashes back to the main menu. My wii was working fine last week so I don't know why this has happened. I have a nand backup and bootmii installed but not as boot2.

Someone please help.

if you're just wanting to replace the NAND with your backup one and you have bootmii installed as IOS, then you can install it by going to the homebrew channel and pressing the home button should bring up an option for bootmii i think, you'll have to have all the files in the right place though dont forget. Also, if you install your backed up NAND, everything will be overwritten to how it was when you backed it up (Saves, Firmware etc)

however, it sounds to me like your Wii is working fine except for USB loading, if thats the case then your Wii isn't broken! how many games have you tried with it? is it just one in particular or have all of them stopped working? what version of CFG Loader are you using? is it the latest one? what cIOS have you got installed? we need more information.

i would suggest deleting the configurable loader settings and files and re-installing them/ re-downloading them all from scratch and see if this helps, it's what i always do if something goes wrong and most of the time it helps XD it could be a number of things though really :(

one more thing... theres a sticky at the top that says no backup loader talk here... wrong section!

It's a modified version of 4.1E.

Oh, never seen that in a report before... I still think the report looks weird, or incomplete. It doesnt list any cIOS in the 2xx range.
Yeah, a proper SysCheck would be nice.

Mauifrog's Softmod ANY Wii installs 54000+version number. 4.1E is v450, so you end up with 54450.

What did it do that was "non-standard" from 4.1E?
You can run an update, and if it fails, your System Menu won't be touched so you won't brick, and you won't have to re-install Priiloader. You can update IOS's and channels through the official process instead of installing them manually.

Kinda handy I suppose. All other features remain the same?
Yeah. Themes work the same and you can still install Priiloader fine (custom hacks file is included with the guide). It's really nice for those who want to hack their Wii, but don't know how (or don't want) to manually keep it up to date.

Cool, thanks for the info
