Hacking Wii freezes while reading from the SD card in 4.0

My Wii was on 3.4U. I upgraded to 4.0U using Waninkoko's firmware updater. It works fine except it freezes when I try to access the SD card through the system menu. Anybody konws why?

I had this issue too, but I just re-downgraded...

Initially when I updated to 4.0 using his updater, I had frequent freezing as well. I downgraded and reupgraded and everything worked just fine.
