No the gamma launcher doesnt support Dual Layer Discs , but brawl is available on dvd5

OK, I have a question.

On the wiki, it says de Blob works fine and the disc read error is now gone on gamma.
However, mine still shows the disc read error.

Any idea why it happens?

Buying..?? as in legit copy..?? then why worrying about gamma, just launch that ne straight from the disc channel

what would happen to my wii if i run a gamecube game that is in a different reigion than ntsc? I want to download this one game but the uploader doesn't specify which region its in.

Solved once again. I unplugged the Wavebird receiver and it worked first time.

Where do I begin with a Wii v3.1E?? A friend of mine bought a second hand Wii and it has v3.1E.
So I dont need to downgrade, but at what point in your tutorial do I start? Or do I have to upgrade to 3.2 ??

Uh I installed the Homebrew Channel and everything was going fine, then I noticed after running the BackupLoader the screen flashed green then went black and my Wii is making funny noises. I am running 3.3 safe version so any idea what the problem is? Thanks.

Try playing around with the video settings(E.g force Pal/ntsc)

ok im a noob and i want too know this will work and not brick my wii
i have a 3.4U unchipped and a did this...
1. Used the twilight hack3.4v
2. Loaded Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
3. Loaded wadmanagerios16 in Homebrew Channel and install cios_fix.wad
4. Loaded IOS Downgrader in Homebrew Channel.
5. Loaded Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and installed the gamma_backup_loader.wad(i forgot the exact name of this one)
6. Burned an iso onto a DVD-R and put into disc drive.

will it work fine?

You forgot, that after use IOS downgrader, you need to use cIOS downgrader and then install the cIOS36_r7 for gamma launcher, and I don't see why it will brick, altough you can do it wrong and that can lead to not work, that's all....!!!

You don't need to use BrickBlocker cause the Launcher don't read the update partition of the disc, so no need for anything...!!

Its NOT possible to get 6x read speed on backups without a modchip
this has been asked millions of times!
