Hacking Wii Disk Images for loaders

Not sure what the default behaviour would be for this though:

Once the NTSC-U discs go up, there will be multiple regional original disc images, if a 3 digit image is requested, what will the behaviour be? Not sure if this would ever happen though, guess the loaders would all be requesting 4 digit IDs.

To the script its not irrelevant how many digits you put in though it checks the 4 digit code first.

It works like this :

After the first 4 digits it ignores everything :

1. Check 4 digit code - if the file exists output it , failing that
2. Check 3 digit code with P as 4th Digit High Quality - if the file exists output it , failing that
3. Check 3 digit code with E as 4th Digit High Quality - if the file exists output it , failing that
4. Check 3 digit code with J as 4th Digit High Quality - if the file exists output it , failing that
5. Check 3 digit code with High Quality - if the file exists output it , failing that
6. Check 3 digit code Custom Image - if the file exists output it , failing that
7. If all above fail , output no image found image.

I think that pretty much covers everything

Im still trying to tighten up on the bandwidth so i have disabled direct linking to any pages other than the main page for now.

Its up to 700 Gigs of data transferred since then 9th , which is quite a bit.

ok I HAVE ALL BUT 6 renamed the images are all very large and in high detail like you wanted so that they can be resized ect...

all named 3 digits (region free)

the only prob is the links djbubba posted for the 5 missing ones are dead (mediafires)

you can see on the previous pages there are the 5 disc arts we need still....(currupt in the rar)

ill resize it to 160x160 then when we do get that ID we can add it to the box arts as well

as soon as i get these 6 i will have all the games out up to date renamed from djbubba2002's kik ass disc art collection

so once we have that we should be all set for high quality disc arts to resize..

Well im happy with 600x600 on the site - its good enough to use on anything and resizes to 160x160 easily.

btw ford racing boxart is missing as well bro

ill resize it to 160x160 then when we do get that ID we can add it to the box arts as well

I have it on the server , no ID for it though which is why its not showing.

You shouldn't be constantly saving files and re-saving them as jpegs as it'll be using lossy compression (unless you're using JPEG2000 and specified lossless file which you probably didn't)

Pretty sure they need to be PNGs because of the loaders file loading libraries.

Anyone tackling these? I will take it on if no-one is doing it... I dont want to do something that is already being done...

I will check back in half hour to see if any responce to this post... If not I will whip them out.

I had them done last night but had to convert them to RGB colour to get my batch process to work in photoshop. Wasn't sure if you wanted them back with an Indexed palette (RGB colour makes the files quite a bit larger). Problem was, it was too late (had to go to bed) so couldn't finish the job

My batch process added the centre transparency to them as well, just like the original images I have uploaded. If we're going for consistency between originals and customs, it might be an idea to have this.....?
